Details: Details: From the innovators of hybrids, the A4 series is on all the hot lists. It features a square head and a maraging-steel (superior strength and toughness without losing malleability) face that makes balls jump off that face. It has an offset hosel designed to reduce slicing.

Purchase: Purchase: Sticker price of $169.99, but well worth every nickel.
Pros: Pros: It’s easy to hit off all lies. It goes a long way and, for the mid-handicapper who might occasionally mis-hit one, it’s forgiving. Available lofts: 17, 19, 22, 26 (a4); 17, 19, 22, 25, 28 (a4OS).
Cons: Cons: None other than it’s a bit pricey.
Quality: Quality: Not only is the head made of the top level materials Adams has built its business on, but the A4/A4OS feature premium shafts like Graphite Design YSQ-HL and Mitsubishi Rayon Javln FX.
