Purchase: I have heard the name AGT on and off for quite some time. The name has always been spoken in high regard. I had read Golf Digest's Hot List last year where Golf Digest's editor gave their woods very high ratings. This year I saw their introduction
of a new driver and the Golf Digest Hot list
again spoke highly, so I finally called(AGT). I paid 385.00 which included a bump up in cost as I chose the driver shaft upgrade. Pros: I really drew me to this club was the fact that AGT didn't copy someone elses design.
There were no screws on the back! I liked the fact AGT devoloped their own unique face design called"Scallop Face Technology."
This driver goes forever, like it had wings!
As claimed, the ball hung in the air atleast 2+ seconds longer then my R7. And, when it landed it rolled a good 30 yards! My R7 is lucky to roll out 10 - 15. I am really impressed with this driver. It also feels really pumped when hit on the screws.
Cons: There isn't much you can say bad about a club this good. It did take a little getting used to teeing the ball up higher then "normal." But once you discover the sweet spot is a little above the center of the face it becomes a outright cannon. Quality: I understand the materials in all AGT clubs come from US foundries. The faces are from a manufacturer in Pennsylvania.
Hey, I'm all for buying American!
The club is beautiful. The finish is something to behold. Review Summary: I have demoed just about everything there is to test. The Aurora felt better, hotter,
it does NOT have a draw or slice tendency. The ball goes absolutly straight as an arrow. The club is different then most, which is a good thing, so put in the time getting used to it's groove. The sweet spot
is a little higher on the face, so learn to hit it there. Once you do, say hello to Mr. 300 you'll be seeing a lot of him I suspect.
Par 5's don't phase me anymore. On 2005-07-01, Anonymous rated this Advanced Golf Technology Aurora Driver a 5...(5785)
Purchase: Purchased it in Pro Shop at my Country Club Pros: It feels so balanced in my hands.
When I swing it, the impact you hardly feel the ball. It is very long.
I would have to say, this club is of a better quality.

Purchase: I direct ordered it from the company phone number.
I paid 385.00 with the upgrade shaft for swing speeds over 100 and less then 108mph.
I was told, by their phone rep. this particular shaft would fit my swing. He was absolutly "Spot On." I am using the new Prototype Nano-Technology shaft made by Graffalloy. Pros: One word: The Distance!
I gave the club a decent whack the first time, nothing crazy, just my standard poke. Was I surprised when I watched the ball sail past my R7's landing zone. I cleared 30 yards past R7's best.
When I got serious I was able to work the ball anywhere I wanted. The shaft/nead combo is magic. Cons: I recieved the head cover in a seperate package a few days later.
Aside from that, I have nothing bad to say about the purchase. I am a serious "weekend" golfer and I must say, this was money well spent. Quality: It is clear AGT sweets the small details.
The club is georgous. The color is something to see. It sits nice and square.
Review Summary: A shaft is so important to a golfer. When your swing speed is higher then average, it is omportant to listen to a pro who has the first hand experience. I am so pleased I made this purchase. My golf game means so much to me, aquiring the Aurora not only elevated my game, but my spirit as well.

Purchase: I don't normally write reviews or offer advice, but I got to tell you, after the experiences I am having with these clubs I just can't help but spread the word about these fantastic products.
I have been following the reviews regarding this company and their products. Everything I read was so good I just didn't believe the hype. All my friends didn't believe it and advised me to stay away.
Well, let me tell you, I deciede to be the guinee pig. I ordered the Aurora driver and Supernova 3 wood. Pros: Before showing up for our weekend game I spent the week at the driving range getting used the clubs.
The first time I hit the 3 wood I topped it and starting thinking I made a mistake.
The 2nd shot felt a little better, but the shat kick was a little higher then my old 3 wood.
The 3rd poke, the ball rocketed off the face and dropped around the 240 yard range.
After that I was just killing the ball!! Wow is this club LONG!! The 5 wood was the same POW! POW! aND THAT 7 WOOD WAS FLAT AMAZING. After hitting the Supernova 7 I decieded to retire my Taylor Hybrid as the Supernova does everythingt the Hybrid does and more! The Driver, AURORA, was just amazing. I mean, how good can a club be?
After hitting the driver I realized the other manufacturers have a long way to go to compare to this driver. Cons: Being the Guine Pig all my golfing buddies "Need" to hit it. I try not to offer it up, but the situation always goes in that direction. Why don't we hear about these small companies? Why don't magazines take the time to introduce us to the little guys who seem to be developing all the hot technology? Isn't that were all of the new and "crazy "ideas come from? Quality: As you can tell I am enjoying these clubs very much.
These clubs are really tops in quality and finish. The color is really kick ass. We all love it. Review Summary: Don't pass these clubs up. They are worth the time to search them out. On 2004-10-08, Golf Junkie rated this Advanced Golf Technology Aurora Driver a 5...(4571)
Purchase: I do not own a Advanced Golf Aurora Driver(yet). I just hit one at the driving range where there was a demo day going on promoting the pro shops products. They carried the Supernova Series fairway woods and just added the Aurora drivers. The Supernova Woods and the Aurora Driver is from the same manufacture, Advanced Golf Technology Co. Pros: The DISTANCE !! WOW! I truely have never hit a golf ball like the ones I was hitting at the range, and this was with crappy old range balls. The hang time was probably 2 seconds longer then my 460 Adams Redline.
I like my Adams, and didn't think there was any way to improve upon its performance. Holy cow, was I wrong.
The ball didn't seen to linger on the face as long as the other jumbo drivers I have tried. It was shot off the face imediatly.
This is a truely an impressive product! Cons: I don't like the thought of wanting another club. I have a corner in my garage with "retired" equipment.
Quality: Not spending more then a few minutes with the demo I can only tell you, this was "Perfection," in my opinion. Everything
seemed to belong together.
I loved the A.TECH shaft. Review Summary: I want one!!! On 2004-09-13, the neighbor rated this Advanced Golf Technology Aurora Driver a 5...(4355)
Purchase: My down the street neighbor is the owner of Advanced Golf Tech. and I have one of the prototypes in my bag thanks to Steve's generosity. I am supposed to return it when the new ones are ready.
It is a loaner and I didn't pay anything. Pros: What I like about it? Bottom line: It works better then my other driver(s).
I am a golf fanatic and have purchased a lot of clubs;infomercials and online.
The Aurora has a great feel to it. The ball comes off the face hot. The shots are all very easy to drop on the fairway without a lot of out of bounds shots. It is clearly longer then my other clubs and the sweet spot is large. Its all good. Cons: The sole on the proto I have has nothing engraved on the sole. But, I know that is going to change on the production models. Quality: It is all tip top quality, just like their Supernova clubs. The whole unit at adress is perfect and balanced. You know you are going to hit a long drive just holding it in your hands! Review Summary: On 2004-07-14, Efrom Stephens rated this Advanced Golf Technology AURORA Driver a 5...(3879)
Purchase: I'm already the very proud owner of Advanced Golf's Supernova Fairway woods. And yes, they are Amazing! Knowing I'd be in So, Cal on business I made sure to have a bit of free time to stop by their facility.
They are in a very nice, upscale business center. The shop was impecably clean. Not a stain on the carpet or mark on the flor! Pros: The owner, Steve Solo, made me feel right at home and took me around showing what's in the "works."
What I really wanted to see was the new Aurora Driver! After some proding he took one out and showed me the unique way he machines the backs of the face, called "Scalloping." Next thing you know we are in his car, on the way to the driving range around the corner! He was like a little kid with a new toy! (okay, I was too!) I'm a golf junky, and I was having the time of my life.
So,here it is, first hand, bottom line,...did he hit the mark? Yes !! It didn't take but one hit to feel it! Magic!
Just like the first time I hit the Supernova on the screws. Mr. Solo explained how the Scalloping works, making the club feel like hitting a tennis racket. It felt a bit different then anything else I have hit, but It felt GREAT! And tru to form we were both out driving everyone around us! It sounded kinda like the Titeliest, Golf Gear, ...only better, and different,.. unique! Good unique! The drivers were both shafted with the new PENLEY G.A.S shafts and the package really felt spot on! To describe it,... like sweet cream, smooth like silk. What was going through my head was this "At the end of the club I had a driver and ball slamming together violiently, catipulting a ball 300yards yet none of the viberations was felt in my hands!" It all felt so absolutly perfect!
For a golf junky I think I had the best day of the summer, and it was all on my companies expence account!!!! Now go buy one. Tell Steve Efrom sent you. Cons: Quality: As with the Supernova's the Aurora Driver
is stunning. It is as beautiful a club the fairway woods are.
100% AMERICAN MADE Material.
ALL of the metal comes from U.S.mills. All of the Pre Preg carbon fiber is made locally in Irvine, California!! Review Summary: Like Golf Digest points out in their February 2004 HOT LIST, issue(pg 87) The Supernova Series is the number one set of clubs in America. This is based on Perfromance, not on the amount of money a company spends on advertising!
AURORA Series does not stray far from its roots. This driver is a missle launcher, so watch out. Either buy one or get out of the way.
