On 2006-11-02, Shunt Dr. rated this Advanced Golf Technology Fairway Driver a 5...(7501)

Details: A very beautiful club. American made suits me fine.

Purchase: I came across the AGT web site. The description and photo got me interested. Can a club like this really work? I can hit my Coba 3 wood 220, so can this Fair Driver do any better? I paid $319.
Pros: It worked just as advertised. Off the grass I was driving the ball nice and high with carry of 240+yards. Not bad. This club had me hitting the ball straighter then I have EVER done. In my prime I could never repeat all the straight shots I can do now. Off the tee too. 250 as straight as a arrow. Terriffic! Our range has targets and once you figured out your distances, you can drop the ball next to the target and the ball will stay there. I am thourghly impressed.
Cons:
Quality: American made quality. As advertised, and it shows. This is a players club.

Review Summary: In todays market you rearly come across a product that holds up and performs as claimed by the manufacturer. This seams to be that 'gem.' I know little about this company. If first impressions mean anything, these products should be made more avalable to the general public.

Details: Color: Pinot Red, Head Size: 240cc, Loft 17 degrees, Shaft: Various - AJ Tech, Penley, Apache, other custom fit.

Purchase: Direct from Advanced Golf Technology through their web site. Called to order. I paid $339.00, which included their premium shaft - AJ Tech.
Pros: This club is extremely easy to hit off fairway's and even out of rough. Ball flight similar to 4 wood, but distance is greater than a strong 3-wood. A great club when I need to go over obstacles or have a very long approach shot and land the ball on the green without too much roll.
Cons: So far I don't find anything to complain about. The ball flight is quite straight, so I don't try to work the ball left or right.
Quality: Construction is first rate. I also have their 3-wood, which is also a great club.

Review Summary: The fairway driver is a great club for my game. It put's a lot of par 5's in range for me and I also occasionally hit it off the tee when I am looking for position on a tight hole.
