Purchase: Iv'e seen the Supernova clubs around. I live in the same town they are made in Irvine, Ca. Around here they are popular with the better/high end golfer. I called and arrainged demos.The company founder/owner Steve Solo actually went with me to the driving range!! VERY COOL. One thing he said really stuck with me. "You can not build a compay based on other peoples technology." refuring to the past few years he has been building the clubs.
Pros: Bottom line: they were so easy to hit. Off the toe or off the heal, it didn't matter, most went relitively straight. I don't swing so hard (I'm a middle aged house wife)so I was really suprised at the distance I was achieving. I was playing Callaway Steelheads but they just don't hold candle to the AGT Supernova. The Nova's are a good bit longer and easier to aim succesfully It is quite true, these woods are HOT! The sound was crisp and the feel powerful. VERY good, very long. They look serious too. They made me feel powerful just holding one.
Cons: The head covers were back ordered . I was told they will be in by the 9th of next month. They better be nice. I would also like hats and shirts to wear.
Quality: They are stunning. Take the club out into the natural light and the paint has a depth to it. The are classy. The look is like a beautiful glass of Merlot wine.
