On 2007-02-08, luv2pla rated this Advanced Golf Technology Supernova FWoods a 5...(7617)
Details: The woods came with AJTech 335's stiffs. The Supernova II's have a beautiful finish. Understaded, elegant. Everything about these clubs exude quality. I purchased the new Supernova II's 3 wood, 5 wood and seven wood.
Purchase: For the past few years I have heard rumors about these 'Mystery' clubs, made using military 'Black' technology. They were supposed to add 20 yards to your..bla, bla, bla, you know the drill.
But you have to find them. They were so exclusive, they don't advertise. I was in Miami, I stopped at a driving range to warm up before playing a afternoon tee time at Doral. Next to me was a older, obviously wealthy guy, wearing gold on his wrists, neck, fingers... you know the type. Not a big swinger, but he was drilling the ball as long and straight as anyone I have ever seen. We struck up a conversation. A nice enough guy. He shared with me his 'seceret weapon.' And there they were! The elusive Supernovas woods and a newly released Aurora driver. I watched as he took a few cuts. Aside from the obvious distance, was the sound. They had a beautiful sound. He let me try them. 3 or 4 balls, and I was hitting shots 20-30 yards longer then my Nike's. I was convinced. I had to have them. He wrote down their phone number. My round at Doral was a blur. All I could think about was geting back to the hotel and ordering my own.
Pros: I just did. Read above text.
What's not to like? They're mine, and that's what I like best about these clubs!
Cons: It took a chance meeting to find these clubs! I know of 15 players who would have had them in their bags if they got their contact info out. I only knew of these clubs by their name 'Supernova.' I hade no idea Advanced Golf Technology was their company name.
Quality: From butt to toe, these are what high end products should. Complete. A1 at the price I paid, with a shaft like these, their a steal.
I paid 289. which is a incredable price considering the shafts, when sold sepratly,
go for $200.+
I am very happy with the purchase.
Review Summary: I'm all out of words. If you haven't discoverd them, it's your loss. If you want to play at your best, put the best tools in your hands.
