Purchase: This was the first time I have ever purchased anything this expensive over the internet. I have heard so many people talking about these clubs I decieded I was going to find out for my self. So, I called the Supernova company. I was advised to try the 3 and 7 woods first. We talked about shafts before decieding on the Penley ETA 55. I am a pretty strong player for my years.
Pros: Firstly, the finish on the clubs are amazing! I took them to the driving range and right from the get go I was hitting the ball long and right down the center. The shafts were dead on. I knew I was hitting something special. These aren't like the low quality componant heads I had tried earlier, these were clubs like the Pros use, I am sure. They hit, felt, even smelt of quality. The next day we played Torrey Pines. I was hitting the 3 wood so far I knocked a shot through the group ahead of us! I have never, ever hit a ball this long! The 7 was just as amazing as the 3. Every golfer should have a day like I had! They are that good.
Cons: I don't like the way I sound describing them. My wife says I sound like a little kid with a new toy. What's not to like. They do everything that is claimed. 20~30 more yards easily, but you have to be carful not to blow the ball over the back of the green,... or hit the group ahead of you! I don't like that AGT doesn't have shirts or accessories to buy. I'd like to fly their colors!
Quality: Solid American craftsmanship. Paint is absolutly georgous. Full, true bore through heads. The shafts are, for me, perfect.

Review Summary: I'd love to know which tour playrs are playing these clubs. It would be great to know and to cheer for them. As yo may have guessed, I am proud to have these in my bag. Sincerely. Gus McBride Monarch Bay, CA.
