Purchase: Quite frankly, I happened upon this club by accident. I often play golf at a course in the suburbs of Phoenix where the owner of Alien Golf resides. Locals were always trying his club designs and the club was left on the course. No one claimed it so I gave it a try. Cost for this odd looking creation is minimal and I have seen it in local golf shops for as little as thirty nine dollars.
Pros: This will, no doubt, be the shortest "what I like" review. It looks good in someone elses bag.
Cons: I found out quickly why this club was unclaimed after being left on the course and why it sells for so little. This club makes one physically ill at address. I've never seen anything uglier as I look down. Positive swing thoughts go right out the window. It is heavy and will remove a piece of real estate large enough to sell for condo development. Greenskeepers beware - if a golfer shows up with this axe in the bag, call in every off-duty employee in order to keep up with turf repairs.
Quality: There can be no arguement about the materials or the assembly of the unit. This was done with quality in mind. As Forest Gump lamented, "That's all I've got to say about that."

Review Summary: I would like to add some positive thoughts, but I simply can't come up with anything. Here's the bottom line: If you plan to use this club, go on a weight lifting program two weeks prior to use - you will need the strength. It would also be a good idea to take some classes at the local college on landscape repair and replacement. If someone suggests you use this monster, find someone else with whom to play golf. If you are looking for this type of wedge, I suggest you try the Lovett wedge. Final comment - the only reason I can see to have this club in your posession would be for self defense. It will definitely do some damage.
