On 2005-10-19, Lefty rated this Alpha V2 400cc a 5...(6321) Review Summary: I'm left handed and so I don't get to demo equipment very often which is very frustrating. So when I purchased my new V2 (Vista Pro 70 stiff) it was really a gamble. I picked it up today with strict advise not to hit it until the head and shaft had finished bonding. Well when the magic time had come I happened to be rounding the 10th hole and so I pulled it out. With a 240 yard carry over water I got wet. I had not used the appropriate size tee. On the next hole a 318 yard par four I drove the green! My playing partner and nemisis said nothing he just got really quiet. I expected at least a "nice drive". After finishing the round I had dialled it in and I have to say what a fantastic combo of head and shaft it is for me. I have a slightly steep angle of approach so I have the 9.5 degree and my swing speed is around 98 mph. The feed back is the most impressive feature of the club. I'm not going to say that it's easy to hit because I've worked hard to groove my swing and know how to attack a ball and do it consistently. Of course custom fitting had a lot to do with it. I was talked out of the more expensive Speeder and Diamana shafts I had been considering and boy am I happy!
