Purchase: I had this driver special made at a local golf shop almost as a last resort. I have always been fairly good with the driver but lately age started rearing its ugly head and I was losing some distance and accuracy. I had tried several different types of drivers with a Cleveland being the best until my club repair man suggested I try the Alpha. He made up the club with a Aldila NIV 65g shaft and the V2 head for $249.00. I noticed a remarkable difference the first time out. I had regained some distance and the accuracy was unbelieveable. This is probably the best driver you've never heard of. I only wish I had one of these 25 years ago.
Pros: Name it. Distance, accuracy, the ability to see where on the club face you are hitting the ball, and the color. The deep black gives a feeling of power before you even swing the club.
Cons: There was no demo clubs available. I took a chance and purchased on the club makers recommendation. It worked out great but it was still a risk.
Quality: Appears to be well made but I do not really have any solid details. I have had no problems at all but have only played with the club about 10 rounds.

Review Summary: Was worth the risk of the unknown for me. If you are in a similar situation as I was, it might be well worth your time to try and check out Alpha Golf. They must know something about drivers since they have the market close to cornered in the long driving competitions.
