Purchase: I recently purchased the Bang Big Bang 450cc driver. This driver is definitely the best driver that I've had in my bag. This was the first (if you can even say) smaller brand name club that I've purchased before. Drivers that I have had before would include Titleist, Callaway, and the Taylor Made. So going from some huge names to the Bang Big Bang made me pretty uneasy. But I was sick of paying big bucks for drivers and just being satisfied with the results.
The driver came in the mail and the following day I went to the range.
First let me give you a word visual on the club.
1. head is a 450cc bang (around 90$)
2. with a Harrison shaft 2.5 low launch
(65$)
3. Winns original grip black (7$)
Honestly the first few balls were pretty ugly. Had the jock on to tight and swinging out of my shoes. Relaxed slightly and that’s when everything start looking good. Previously with other drivers I would punch the ball out on average around 275-290. Occasionally around the 300 but that was really putting some smoke on it. With the Bang I can easily put it out there 285 straighter and with less speed swing. The club is really designed for swinging hard and getting your binoculars to track it. In the past this head has won numerous long drive contests.
Finally, I'll never buy another huge brand driver and pay the outrageous prices that are marked on them. Irons and Putters would be a totally different story; name brands to me would matter much more.
I purchased the club from
I would suggest you speak to them over the phone that’s what really sold me on the club and the shaft that I bought. The individual that I spoke with there was highly intelligent in the products that he sold and the shaft that would best suit my game.
Any extremely happy golfer
