Details: 460cc 10.5 loft, UST V2 65 R flex, Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip

Purchase: After reading reviews I bought these components from In Golf for $195. I've built my own clubs for 5 years and I'm always searching for the perfect set.
Pros: I like the look, sound, I guess everything. This club I gaurantee is the longest driver you can swing. No Doubt! You have to be careful to match it with the right shaft. My r flex is now more like a weak X flex because the bore depth is 63.5mm or 2 1/2'. That's 1 1/8' more than most clubs. You would have to buy a shaft that is one flex softer than you think you need. If you do that there is, in my opinion, no possible way to get a driver that is longer. The trajectory is piercing. Note: because of the bore depth the trajectory is lower than stated loft. The ball jumps off the face, goes long, and rolls out more than any club I have ever used. I have built and owned more drivers than I can count and this is the real deal if you can swing it. I think if your club head speed is 100mph and over this is perfect for you. If you are under 100 I would opt for the Bangster.
Cons: There isn't anything I don't like. Top quality construction. The only thing I don't like is that I'm not quite man enough to do this club justice. The people at In Golf were nice, but needed to be more informed on this head. They said it wouldn't effect the flex,WRONG, and that the trajectory was high, WRONG again. I'm going to sell this club if I can find a buyer and get the Bangster. It's bore depth is 41mm which would make it more for my 95mph swing speed and will make shafts play more true to flex.
Quality: Top notch as I said. People have said how loud this club is and I didn't find that to be true. They also didn't like the chrome lines on the rear of the club. I did't even notice them when looking at the ball.

Review Summary: Bottom Line: The bore depth realy makes this club for heavy hitters. If you are a heavy hitter.......Buy IT. I would give it 8 stars if I could. It's not the clubs fault that it's more than I can handle.

Details: bang-'bang-o-matic' 9' reg- shaft with the FA system.

Purchase: I purchased my new Bang driver at a small golf shop in El Monte, I paid $199 for the driver. I read about how this driver broke all kind of distance records ( ha ha).
Pros: This is the worst purchase I have ever made! I bought a off brand driver on time at big 5 for $29 that make this driver look bad! I went right back and got my money back after one bucket of balls. I asked the Pro to please hit a few shots to make sure it was not just me. All the shots were 180 yards, low hook!!!!! Even the pro could hit one good shot. This driver feels like a kids toy!
Cons: Not one thing other than I got my money back.
Quality: LIke a toy

Review Summary: If you purchase this driver you will quit the game thinking you just cannot play.

Purchase: After being cosistantly discontented with my previous Taylor Made drivers, I decided to have a driver built to my specs with not only the head but shaft in mind as well. After doing alot of homework, I decided to purchase a 9* BOM head from Golfcraft, a local club builder. The head cost me $125 (which is typical of most retailers). I'd already purchased an Aldila One, 75 gm, Low Trajectory, S flex shaft from Golfworks for $25 on sale. The total cost of having the club built (including grip) was $200.
Pros: I have a very long arching, high speed swing (122-125 mph). Due to the nature of my swing mechanics, I regularly mis-hit off the tee when I really swing out of my boots. The BOM is extraodrinarily forgiving on off center hits and still gets you plenty of yardage. I had one drive yesterday that came off the toe with a hard draw and landed in bermuda grass rough. I still got 320+ yards out of it. The carry was probably 310 yards alone.
Cons: This driver is like the Lamborghini of golf clubs. It's just too cool to dislike anything about it.
Quality: My original BOM head didn't perform exceptionally well,in fact I didn't get any more distance with it than with my TM's. Then after 4 or 5 trips to the range, the head developed a lengthwise crack accross the top of the club face about 3/4 the way up the face. After having the head replaced (at no cost to me) the driver simply obliterated any Titleist parked in it's way. Clearly there simply was a manufacturing defect with the first head. As of yet however, there hasn't been anything to complain about with the new head.

Review Summary: This club just screams performance yet is the most forgiving driver I've ever hit. Do your homework and outfit this head with a shaft that is "right" for you. If you choose your shaft wisely and add a properly lofted BOM head, you'll be hard pressed to beat the combo. ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE! I'll never waste my money on over priced, over rated OEM woods ever again. Now, irons?......That might just be a different story.
