Purchase: I first noticed the Mellow Yellows on various component web sites. I'm an experienced club builder, but I've alway had trouble hitting drivers. I tend to hit a typical 10 degree very low. I built a MY 420 High Launch (14 deg) with a Rifle 6.0 shaft to 43.5" I've added about 20 yds to my previous driving distance with better accuracy. I've recently built two more MYs for friends with great results. The MY head was about $75 through M&M Golf and the Rifle was $15 at Golfsmith. Also, any comfortable midsize grip works well with this combination.
Pros: Great feedback from the feel and sound. It sounds like an imploding lightbulb with sweetspot contact.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Fine construction and quality. I especially like Bang's common sense in wrapping part of the face over the top of the head to prevent finish scratches.
