Purchase: I was researching drivers on the net, when I came accross the Bang website. It was also featured on alot of long drive websites, with great reviews. After researching the driver further, I decieded to get a local crubmaker to fix me up. I ended up paying about $250 canadian ($130 american) for the driver. It was fitted with a Harrison classic lite mid launch. Not only due to the color match. (but it is the same shade of yellow).
Pros: The clubmaker who had assembled my club had never dealt with the Bang product before. After the head arrived at his shop, he called me immediatly to go and take a look at the head. He was very impressed with the overall quality. And so was I. You can see yourself in the mirror like chrome finish on the sole and face. So even before I even hit a ball with the thing I was impressed. Believe it or not the driver bangs balls even better than it looks. I have gained a minimum of 20 yards in my first month of using the mellow yellow. And I have never hit so many fairways. It is by far the most forgiving and longest driver I have ever hit. My last round I hit 9 of 12 fairways. I am 5'7" tall and 170 lbs with a 108 mph swing speed. And now easily get the ball out 270 yards, or more....
Cons: What's not to like???
Quality: The quality is right up there with the big names tour models. I also love the Harrison classic lite shaft. It is available in many different lofts, left and right hand.
