Purchase: I purchased the bang mellow yellow fairway woods directly from Bang for around 25 bucks each.
Pros: I purchased the heads to go along with my Mellow Yellow 420 driver. Like the driver, these heads are painted in yellow--- loud and very unique! Being completely addicted to my Mellow Yellow 420 driver, I was skeptical that I would enjoy a fairway wood that was slightly larger in volume than what I typically like to hit (the 3-wood is 220 cc, and the 5 wood is 185 cc). Just a few hits was all it took to be hooked on these. The pop off the face is almost as amazing as the 420 driver. The low center of gravity makes it easy to hit balls out of rougher grass. I am simply amazed at the distance I can get off of these. Since I make clubs for a hobby, I have used many other styles and brands of heads. Some styles I prefer over the bang (i.e. the E-powerII heads from Chih An International--formerly known as Nickent), but the only other head I have found to match the performance of these bang fairway heads are the bangomatic fairway heads (probably the best looking head on the market. I could not imagine using my 5-wood for a 230 to 260 yard 2nd shot before. With these woods, I can consistently make the shot. Amazing!
Cons: Overall head size is a little larger than I usually look for in a fairway wood head, although the slightly larger 3-wood (at 220 cc) makes it very easy to hit from the tee.
Quality: These heads are made of 15-5 stainless steel. The unpainted areas are finished to a very fine polish. The face has limited score lines and is as clean as a mirror. Sharp looking and solid feel.

Review Summary: Overall, despite my difference in preference for overall shape and size of a fairway wood head, the mellow yellow fairway wood heads simply perform. Other than the bangomatic fairway wood heads, I have not found a fairway wood head that matches up to the distance I can get from these. Another great product from Bang golf. Kudos to Steve. And No, I am not a Bang employee. I simply haven't found a driver or fairway wood that matches the performance I get consistently from the Bang mellow yellow line. I am always looking and always building.... the search continues.

Purchase: I bought the 3 and 5 wood for 44 dollars for both. Then I bought 2 harrison classic lowlaunch for about 55$. I put them together. There is also a 7 wood available but i dont need it for the fact of I can hit my 3 iron farthrt.
Pros: Once again I love the Bang! name a color of the head. It might not be for the older crowd but for the younger crowd its GREAT! I hit these verywell I cant be more happy with the results.
Cons: I dont really have any dislikes. But if there was one it would have to be the same problem that I have with the Driver. No Yellow Grip.
Quality: Great quality. Never dinged them once while I was hitting them. The chrome/yellow is a great combo.

Review Summary: Bang! did it agian with these fairway woods to match the driver. Love to hit them, love they way they look.
