Details: Dozen new balls in box.

Purchase: Online from TGW for $25.
Pros: Hogan is a division of Callaway now.
Cons: But these balls are just average. They are horrible in the wind, and do not spin as well as HX Tour, which is the ball I've been using for 2 years. Compared to the HX Tour, the Tour Deep does not scuff as much but it is harder and definitely not as high performance. These might be good when the conditions are perfect - no wind and the greens soft. Otherwise, forget it.
Quality: The ball has a nice shine to it, not too bright, but a nice clean look and cleans well.

Review Summary: I hated them. I thought I would try to save some money by giving this ball a go but no, I thought my game had gone to sh_t. Will not hold in the wind - but then compared to the HX balls, I don't think anything holds in the wind as well. I would never use the Tour Deep unless I am playing a wide-open, cheap public course with no hazards. If you've been playing high performance balls, do not use this ball - it's one rank down.

Purchase: I had been found a Ben Hogan ball around the 16th green at Stone Ridge and decided to play it on the next two holes, made birdie and par. I knew that these golf balls were just perfect for my game. I bought my first dozen balls around christmas time at $39.99 at Dick's Sportinggoods. I bought my Second Dozen when I had some extra cash around my birthday (Mid May) at the same Dick's store for only $21.99
Pros: The Hogan's make my already decent short game better with it's superior spin. They putt very true which really helps out my shaky putting. I gain about 5-15 yards off the tee with the hogan's. They also seem to help with my long irons because of its somewhat of a 'drop and stop' technique.
Cons: Nothing really jumps out at me when I think of the dislikes towards this ball. The only thing I could think of is that they aren't terribly durable. Then again I play about 25 hours of golf a week, so you be the judge.
Quality: It's just an awesome ball.

Review Summary: I highly recommend these balls. They can help out all different aspects of your game. And come on, I know that everybody out there is looking for a simlar, maybe even superior ball to the Prov1. I know that I speak for a lot of golfers when i say that I'm just pretty sick of every single golfer play with the prov1. Ben Hogan Tour Deep golf balls are the way to go!!!

Purchase: I knw the pro at a local course. I helped him with a 5 minute fix to his computer in the clubhouse, so he gave me a sleeve of these to try.
Pros: Fairly soft feel off all clubs. Good short game spin as you would expect from a premium ball. Fairly long, about the same as ProV1x or others.
Cons: Nothing stands out about it that would make me choose it over another ball. I think Callaway realizes this, as I have seen the price dropping on these lately to try to entice people. Nothing wrong with it- a fine ball in fact! But why should I play it over another brand...
Quality: Very good. Not prone to scuffing and stays bright white throughout the round. Putts true.

Review Summary: Good ball. It's going to need some strategic marketing to get people to try it I think. If you are a Hogan enthusiast, these won't disappoint in any way.

Purchase: Played 3 sleeves of these at about $10 per sleeve. Bought at Wide World of Golf based on conversation with the staff as I'd been playing Callaway HX Tours and was open to something different.
Pros: I like everything about this ball; it's got a soft feel, flies true and lands easily. Great feedback off the clubface, I can tell exactly where it's going at impact. As I said, I'd been playing the Callaway HX Tour, and I'd also tried the Srixon Z-UR. So now I've got 3 different balls in my bag. Which do I grab first, or how do I compare these? Decent weather and I want feel from the ball because my swing felt right in warm-up I grab the Tour Deeps, there's something very reassuring about this ball, it never seems to really "take off" if you hit it wrong, a smooth hook instead of snap if my hands are too fast. All out distance and bombing swing-for-the-fences kind of day I grab the Callaway, it's just really long. On a grind-it-out kind of day where I'm just playing and enjoying being on the course without too much concern for having the perfect day because my swing is a bit off I grab the Srixon, it doesn't seem to get beat up quite as fast as the others.
Cons: Not much I don't like about the ball except like all other top-shelf balls I wish its durability was a bit better, but not a complaint as it's consistent with the Callaways and ProV1's in this area.
Quality: Consistent, and I REALLY like the font the use for writing the name on the ball, it's kind of old-school and very cool.

Review Summary: My normal go-to ball, it's good at everything.

Purchase: Acquired these balls at the pro-shop. Price-$44 dozen.
Pros: I love the feel and the distance that I get from this ball. I don't know if I have hit any ball other than this one and the Pro-V1 with such great feel. This ball feels AMAZING off the putter face.
Cons: ABSOLUTLY NO REASON
Quality: Makes you wonder how you get so much distance off such a great feeling soft ball. Ball does not scuff easily either.

Review Summary: I would definatly recommend that you atleast do yourself a favor and try this ball, I did and I fell in love with it.

Purchase: I purchased these balls for 39.99/dozen. They are brand new out on the market! I had read alot about the Hogan Apex Tour balls. So I decided to be a guinea pig and buy these new Tour Deep's. I was not disappointed. Solid ball! The ball is constructed well and transfers a lot of energy at impact. I've never had a ball bounce back more than six inches. My first round with these I got these babies to back up to about 2 feet! And for me that's outstanding. On my first strike on the first tee with one of these which is a wicked dogleg right, the ball exploded. It rested anywhere from 250-260 yards. And the ground was like a mosh pit. So it carried at least 250 on the fly. Can't tell much difference on the irons. The ball responds to the wedges though. They also putt very true! Like they have a magnet to the hole. Overall: Recommended!
Pros:
Cons:
Quality:

Review Summary: Great ball will play with these again. When I get the money ; )

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
