Details: 9.5 degree loft, stiff shaft, draw weight
Purchase: I got this because I wanted a stiff shaft along with a good price, and I need to hit the ball straight so i decided to give this a try. I actually had a bigger Nicklaus club but when i bought it when i was about 14 years old I didnt do much research, i just wanted the big club head. I had too whippy a shaft for my fast swing, and the grip was too fat. So i was hanging around at golftown and came across these on a boxing day sale for $118 canadian. I bought it with the draw weight and it was very good right away even at the driving range. Pros: I like the look of the head, not too big and the nice shiny bottom. It lets you hit the ball very straight, even though i cannot hit it as far as my Nicklaus. I could hit the Nicklaus 280 on a good drive but that was 1 for every 7 holes. This club takes off about 20 yards but is straight 80% of the time. It also has a very nice shaft, and was a great deal because buying this shaft alone on any other club at Golftown is $145. So i get the nice club and the shaft for $118. Cons: Itll get you hitting draws, straight, and hooks. Thats the only problem its more of a slice fixer than a draw club. The few drives I dont hit good will be hard hooks to the left. Doesnt go quite as far as you expect but will get you hitting straight. Youll split some fairways for shure Quality: Very nice and shiny, clean look with no funny angles and wierd shapes. Just a clean cut look. Good quality shaft and the joints look nice and tight. Sometimes im expecting my Nicklaus clubhead to fly off when i take a very hard swing. Review Summary: Very good club for average golfers like me, especially if your trying to improve your game and have trouble hitting straight off the tee. If your willing to sacrifice a little distance....

Details: 10.5°, regular Aldila NV65 shaft, neutral face
Purchase: I paid 169$ on ebay in 2005, bought it cause I liked the look, the neutral face and the shaft. Pros: Perfect driver for me! The shaft fits my swing speed perfect, the neutral face makes lineup a snap. It launches the ball high, gives the ball more air time, which is perfect for me since I don't hit'em so hard. Sweetspot is huge, you get the feedback for mishits but not the results. I didn't pick up extra yards, but I hit way more fairways. I've never been more accurate from the tee, can hit my little fade all day! Cons: Balls into a headwind can go a little high and lose distance, nothing else to complain about. Quality: Excellent! The grip is in perfect shape after 18 months of use, the face and the sole don't scratch, no paint chips to be seen. This is a quality product. Review Summary: I have never hit a straighter driver, this setup fits me perfectly. Hardhitters and high ball hitters might prefer less loft, but if you're a medium hitter looking for a forgiving driver that gives you a little extra airtime then try this setup. This club is waaaayyyy underrated!!
