Details: The Ben Hogan C455 Woods were released in 2005, but will quickly discontinued at the end of the season by Callaway, who is determined to kill the Ben Hogan line and promote their own golf equipment. However, if you can get the Ben Hogan C455 Wood, buy it on eBay where it is still be sold. I have the Strong 3-13, 3-15, 5-17, 7-21. I love all of these woods. They are all equipped with the Aldila NV [green] shafts. When I hit the ball, it goes fairly straight and long. I've been using them for 2.5 seasons now....2005 to mid 2007.

Purchase: I obtained the Ben Hogan C455 Woods from the Golf Mart in South San Francisco for $189.99 per wood.
Pros: I have always liked the quality of Ben Hogan Golf Equipment. I admire Ben Hogan the golfer and have read all that I could on his playing style, having read his two golf books, 'Power Golf' and 'Five Lessons'. So, I focused on obtaining Ben Hogan Golf Equipment. I also like the price of the equipment. They aren't expensive like Titleist and Callaway equipment.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about it.
Quality: The club face is very well made. It has endured 2.5 seasons of play. The Aldila NV Shaft is one of the most popular shafts on the Pro Tour.

Review Summary: It's too bad that Callaway is slowly killing off the Ben Hogan Brand. They released the last of the Ben Hogan Tour Staff in 2006. Jim Furyk, Bernhard Langer, and Justin Leonard were the last Pro Staffers whom have all moved on to other sponsorship. So, many Ben Hogan loyalist are upset at Callaway Golf.
