Purchase: At turning 57 years of age, I realized that I was in need of a change in order to enjoy the game and keep it fun so I went looking for a more forgiving set of clubs. I am an average player with a 10 hcp, and was playing Ping i3s for a few years but although fairly forgiving irons, I wasn’t getting the results I hoped for. I tried every top name in the business and even bought a few sets thinking that I found the right ones but it wasn’t until I hit the Hogan CFT's that I new I had something that fit. The balance is superb as is the quality and classic styling. They hit ‘em long and straight, build confidence and put excitement back into my game. My 25 year old son, who is a 3 hcp, also plays these so they are not only for seniors or hackers. So if you’re in a similar position, try the Hogan’s and make your game a lot less stressful. I bought the CFTs from 3Balls Golf for $249.00 shipped and although they were described as in fine condition, they still had the plastic on the heads as new! Try 3Balls, they are first class and have fun. That’s what it’s all about!
Pros: They line up great and put the ball where you aim them. They also look good with the classic Hogan style.
Cons: The grooves are a little hard to clean but it's a nit pick. Also the grooves are sharp and scuff the ball a little but not a big deal for the results you get.
Quality: Superb quality throughout. They are a pleasure to look at and play.

Review Summary: At least give 'em a try. IMO these are the last of the unique Hogan styling since Callaway took over so get'em while you can.
