On 2004-03-18, Picasso826 rated this Bennington Quiet Organizer Cart Bag a 5...(3137)

Purchase: I have a set of forged clubs which, like all forged clubs, are subject to dents and dings much more so than cast iron. Just about every bag on the market, no matter how expensive, are all designed to loosely hold your clubs. Whether walking or riding your irons are constantly slamming into each other, clanging and nicking the whole time. Also, with a standard bag, you're always having to fumble through your batch of sticks to find a particular club and never really know if there is a club missing until it's too late. I saw an ad for this bag and made a point of finding a dealer to check it out. Well, I found them at Roger Dunn and can tell you they look great, are offered in a variety of colors and have more compartments than you'll ever be able to fill. The irons fall easily into the slots at the top of the bag. Not only do they stay quiet but they are organized so that I can easily pick out whatever club I want but, more importantly, I can see any club that might be missing in a heartbeat. I've got some beautiful bags collecting dust since I bought this one. I can't imagine going back to a standard bag! I purchased this bag at Roger Dunn Golf for approximately $150. It's worth every penny.
Pros: I like the top slotted rim that holds the irons in place. They keep the clubs quiet and organized. There are lots of pockets, big and small, for just about anything you may want to pack. It even has a shoulder strap 'garage' to keep it out of the way when you're loading it onto a cart. The bag has definately turned a few heads on the golf course.
Cons: There are no negatives about the bag. Some will comment that the price might be a little steep but stop to consider how often you buy a bag and if this bag is just a little more than how much you were going to spend anyway....well, it's totally worth it!
Quality: The quality of the bag is excellent. The stitching looks first rate and the material is a combination of good looking and durable. The zippers and heavy duty and work smoothly. Very nicely done all around.

Review Summary: The bottom line is simple. If you want to: 1.Protect your clubs (without having to use iron head covers) 2.Organize your rig so that you can see what you've got (or what you might have left behind on the last green) 3.Quiet your step from clanging clubs 4.Have a stylish and 'intelligent' bag ...then this is a bag worth considering!
