Purchase: Purchased at a local golf shop for $39 - 20% (sale) Pros: This ball is long and soft. Bridgestone puts out a B330S which is supposed to feel even softer but I didn't notice any problems with he B330 on not feeling soft. The B330 is longer than the B330S so that was why I got it. It spins well as I was able to check up a number of shots and pull them back. It doesn't scuff easily either.
It has a pretty moderate to high ball flight. Cons: Nothing really. Quality: These balls were very uality products that did not scuff or cut easily Review Summary: Worth a try if you want a cheaper alternative to the ProV1 series. Long ball that spins well and will save your wallet a few bucks.

Purchase: Played a $10 sleeve from pro shop of these for comparison to proV1. Have not tried the B330-s. Used to play precepts for years and swore by them until proV's came along. Pros: Good distance and excellent feel. Seamless technology may help on putting, ball rolled very true. Ball is outstanding in wind, may be the best wind ball made. Cons: Ball does scuff just like Precept Tour did. Also, I personally don't like the funky dimple pattern- espec. when putting but I think the design is the reason ball is awesome in strong winds. Quality: Good ball with lots of tech. Ball will scuff but most hi-performance balls will(i.e. callaway hx tour) although pro-v's are the best when it comes to durability. Bridgestone probably has more patents than any company when it comes to balls. Review Summary: Posted this review to let everyone know the deal with bridgestone. They have been making balls for a very long time in Japan. Marketed under Precept for years, practical invented the two-piece performance ball with precept extra spin(see Nick Price's major wins with this ball). They also manufactured the first Nike balls and may still be making under license from Nike. On 2006-07-20, Jim Duff rated this Bridgestone B330 a 4...(7287)
Purchase: Purchased a dozen at a Nevada Bob's discount golf. I dont remember what I paid, around 45 canadian. Not as much as Pro V's though. Pros: There long and soft. Longest ball I have played, and the spin is huge. When I hit a little punch wedge into a its stops on a dime. Even on short chips i can make the ball check up nice. Cons: Durablity is an issue, bridgstone needs to address this. Although I have played the last b330 for over 36 holes know, but it's going in the shag bags now. Its pretty marked up. I dont get the guys that say they have to change to a new ball every 3-4 holes. I played 27 holes 3 night ago and 9 last night with the same ball. I had no problem's Quality: Review Summary: I love the feel, and thats how I play by feel. My game really relies on the around the green game, and I have the shoots to play there, this ball just makes it easier. I would give it a 5 if the scuffing was cured up On 2006-06-15, JC rated this Bridgestone B330 a 3...(7119)
Purchase: Bought at Golf Galaxy, can't remember the price, around $30. Bought the ball because I am looking for a ball with distance that will spin. Read some reviews on GolfTestUSA that indicated it would be the right ball for me. Pros: Great feel off the clubs...it was very crisp. Also got great spin from the ball. I could fire right at the pins, it would one hop and then back up to the same distance as the divot, perfect! Loved playing it. Loved the sound off the putter also, nice solid thud. Cons: Not durable. Every iron shot provided a new scuff, and I'm not talking about the minor scuffs either. It would remove significant cover from a 3/8' area after each shot. Needed a new ball every hole practically. However I didn't have that many balls, so I would use it for about three holes and the scuff would definitely affect flight of the drive. Quality: Quality was good, but I thought the ball would hold up a little better. The cover feels very soft and is. Review Summary: Great performance, a new ball plays much better than anything I have ever tried, including more expensive balls (with the exception of balata balls from years past). Not durable enough to be practical though, like a balata ball. On 2005-09-27, Danny rated this Bridgestone B330 a 4...(6238)
Purchase: I found this ball on a local course and tried it out the next hole. Pros: Excellent distance of tee without rockhard feel. Spins great on green with excellent control. Feels like butter off irons. Cons: Scratches sooo easily. Just a regular wedge shot will scuff it. Another overly priced ball out there now. Quality: As stated above durability is bad but otherwise good construction. Review Summary: Great all around hitting ball. Bad durability. Definetly worth a try if your willing to pay the price. This is the ball I bought last time out I was out shopping On 2005-07-26, Umbo rated this Bridgestone B330 a 5...(5915)
Purchase: Originally received two balls as a promotion. Later purchased 2 dozen from my pro shop for $34 per. Pros: Found the ball to be long with good trajectory. As long as the ProV1x. Stops well, but doesn't spin as much for me as the Prov1x. Seems to maintain flight pattern (fade or draw spin doesn't increase when not hit perfectly). Cons: Scuffs too easily. My only complaint. Quality: Good ball. Review Summary: I like the ball and have been playing it quite a bit. It may wind up replacing the ProV as my regular ball. Purchase: I've been buying the B330 to save some money - compared to the Pro-Vs which are ridiculously expensive I think. I can get the B330's for $36 at a local store. Pros: The ball does not have that hot, take-off feeling - it definitely feels like a control ball. If you do not hit it crisp, it will not spin at all, but it does tend just stop dead where it lands, which is great. Around the greens I think it must be hit crisp to hop and spin, if that's what you want. Otherwise it can feel dead and will carry on rolling. Cons: Can feel dead like a stone, and it won't take any spin unless you hit it absolutely dead crisp. Quality: Easy to scratch cover. Do not hit a cart road, or even a tree - these balls scratch easily, and they dent easily too. The look and shine will not last long, just like the Pro-V1s - the price you pay for slightly softer feel and a bite/ grip for the spin off the irons. But they still seem to fly OK. Review Summary: A ball for guys looking for control, everything is as expected - mid-trajectory, holds the line well, but must be hit crisp. For putting, it feels like a completely different ball depending on the putter.... On 2005-06-08, Anonymous rated this Bridgestone B330 a 5...(5625)
Purchase: Dick's Sporting Goods $49 Pros: The ball is straight and has great control around the greens. I've played both pro v's and wasnt happy with their performance. but this ball is great all around Cons: It's cover is soft for control but it makes it's durability terrible. Quality: very high quality ball and constructed very well Review Summary: This ball is my favorite ball out of all that I have played and it will remain there until one that can compare to it's length and control. Purchase: Bought them for $39 at Golf Galaxy Pros: Long. This is the longest ball I have ever hit, and I have hit them all. You will be hitting your second shot from places you have never been before. Nice soft touch on the putter and the spin is just as good as any other premium ball. Cons: I did get some tearing up of the cover with my wedges. To be fair, my wedges have sharp grooves. I do not think that should happen however. That kind of sucks for a ball that costs this much money. Quality: Pretty well made. Sharp wedges will scuff the cover up. Review Summary: This is a nice ball and you will outdrive your buddies. You may even take some money from them. Is'nt that why we play anyway? Plus it's just fun to smash the ball 30 yards past everyone in your group. I carried a group of bunkers that were 265!! Me! and I suck! My group was saying how they have never seen anyone do that before. Purchase: Paid ~$39 for a dozen balls. Slightly cheaper than the Pro V1 Pros: Longer than the Pro V1 & Pro V1x. I used to play with the Precept U-Tri Tour. Found this ball to be longer, with the same level of spin control. Didn't notice the durability problem mentioned in the other review. Love the fact that I don't have to worry about "seaming" as with Pro V1. Cons: Nothing Quality: Liked the seamless technology. Review Summary: I find this ball more consistent with my game than the Pro V. (8 handicap, Avg 260 - 270 off the tee - occasional 300yd drive, but not consistent!) Purchase: I actually found one of these in pristine condition mixed in with the range balls at the local golf dome. A free sample! Someone obviously didn't know these are $40 a dozen and decided to hit one last ball at the range... Pros: Length off the driver was very good. Spin into the green was excellent. Able to back it up without a problem. Slightly softer feel than the ProV1x with which it competes. Cons: Scuffs fairly easily. After three full wedge shots it started to look a little sad. All three wedges left their "mark" on the cover. Didn't shred, but definite scuffs. ProV's definitely are more durable. If you have played the HX-Tours, it has about the same cover life. If you don't lose it, expect to only get one round out of a ball. No longer (that I could notice) than the ProV1x and others which it is to compete with. With no price incentives, no real reason to switch to it if you already like the others on the market. Quality: Without a doubt a very high performing golf ball. More performance than most people can take advantage of fully. Their claim to fame is that it's just as long as the ProV1x but with more feel and spin. I'm afraid it has come at the expense of cover durability. No problem if you're on their tour staff and get them for free, but for the rest of us... Review Summary: Well, at least it was free! As I said, very high performance ball, just the durability issue that may turn people off. With so many great balls on the market now, I think Bridgestone may have waited too long to get into the game. The durability issue will be this ball's downfall. Great ball if you don't mind going through a couple of them a round. I'll give these a 5 for performance, but a 2 for durability and value. 4 out of 5 rating overall.
