Purchase: Purchase was made at a local Sports Authority store. Very surprised by the price of $12.99 for a dozen. Best price I have seen anywhere. Beat all website prices I have investigated and forget shipping charges. I was seeking a ball with a comfortable, soft feel that could generate better initial velocity for a moderate clubhead striker such as I am. Having researched numerous evaluations of the ball by higher-handicap golfers, I thought I would give this a try.
Pros: I played my first round this past week using the MC LADY. Yikes!! My experience, and this is no fabrication: I shaved 6 strokes off my league average for nine holes. This score despite two penalty strokes taken for hitting the ball TOO FAR while taking lay ups on holes where water comes into play. I struck my normal clubs on those occasions 20-30 yards beyond my usual play. They got wet!!! What I like: 1) Extremely smooth/soft feel off all clubs including chipping/putting; 2) My shots have lacked a high trajectory in the past but not with this ball 3) Distance with the same club head speed significantly increased and 4) Plays consistently straight and true.
Cons: Having to explain why the ball I am playing is numbered either 10, 20,30 or 40 versus the usual 1,2,3,4. Otherwise...........
Quality: It's a white golf ball, what more can I say about construction? It did not explode or shatter!!!!!

Review Summary: Bottom Line: This ball, and I have tried a few over the past 46 years, feels exactly correct for my swing style. The feel and DISTANCE were an amazement to me. My league partner of 19 years appreciated that my game was coming back to a level he observed a decade ago. Anyone with a low-moderate club head speed should invest in a dozen. How can you make a mistake at $12.99???? I need to get a few dozen more before the price changes.
