Purchase: I found one of these recently and decided to put it in play at the start of my last round.
Pros: Very long. Doesn't have much sidespin off the driver or longer irons. Some have said it scuffs easily, but I didn't have much in the way of scuffing (it was 50º F, so maybe that had something to do with it.) Hit and sit on approach shots into the green.
Cons: A little more "firm" in feel than other similar balls such as ProV1x and HX-tour (my favorite.) Ballflight was a little lower as well. Would be good in the wind for this reason, but my ballflight is not real high to begin with.
Quality: Good. On par with the competition. I'd have to try them in warmer weather to see if their reputation for scuffing rears its head in warmer conditions.

Review Summary: I was impressed. May not feel as good as other balls for lower swing speed players. Good ball for windy conditions or those that want a ball that will help bring ballflight down.

Purchase: I received a free two-pack of the Bridgestone Tour B330 golfballs as a promotion, hence it didn't cost me anything. I think these sell for around $40 per dozen at the local golf shops.
Pros: This is actually an excellent golf ball. It flies a looong distance off the driver. It has a nice soft feel to it around the greens, but it doesn't feel mushy like some of the lower compression balls. You want the golf ball to feel soft, but it should still have a somewhat firm feel to it when hitting driver. This ball does.
Cons: Not much to dislike unless you're watching you pennies. If you are a wild hitter who loses balls in the woods or the weeds, then go with a cheaper ball.
Quality: Superb.

Review Summary: This ball goes a long way down the fairway and has a nice feel to it as well. A nice firm sound off the driver, but soft on partial shots around the green and with the putter. I normally play the Callaway HX HOT, and I have to confess that this ball is probably similar to how that ball plays, but with a bit more stopping power on shots hit into the green. I'll probably continue to play the Callaway because of the price differential; the Callaway HX HOT is about $15 cheaper per dozen. For a once per week golfer, the difference isn't that significant. Still, it is an excellent ball performancewise.

Purchase: Bought 2 dozen at large national golf equipment retailer. Wanting to try something with good feel, urethane cover, 3 piece and not spend $45+ for PRO V1/ PROv1x
Pros: Good feel, better feel off my putter. Great ball flight, as long off driver and seems to be longer of irons to the tune of 4-7 yards. Definitely a "serious players" ball as the ads and the mfg. claims. Pretty good price for a nice feeling golf ball.
Cons: Have noticed that the PROV1/X holds up better without the scuffing/damage of normal wedge shots.
Quality: See above

Review Summary: Overall it seems to be a quality ball with all the playability that I am looking for. I really like the way it feels off my putter and with equal distance as PROV1/X, I go with the B330 for $10 less a dozen..

Purchase: I bought a sleeve at Vans for $11. I saw the commercial about the Tour B330 how it was just as good or better than the V1x which is my favorite ball.
Pros: This ball goes the same length as the v1x but on a lower trajectory. The lower trajectory helps gain distance due to more roll on my drives out on the rock hard Arizona fairways. This ball spins good from 100 and in and also feels good with my forged irons.
Cons: At $40 a dozen I wish the durability was better. I used for 9 holes and had some sufficiant scuff marks. On one hole I had to wedge a small grain of sand out of the cover that got stuck. I would say you could play 18 with one but not much more.
Quality: I like the construction from everything to performance to technology like the seamless cover. I dont exactly like the durability of this ball.

Review Summary: This will be my ball from now on unless I can get some 2004 v1x's for the same price. The only other ball I am going to try is the hx tour 56 in july.

Purchase: I bought a sleeve for $11 at Van's Pro shop. I saw the commercial and it stated this ball was better than the Pro V1x which is currently my ball.
Pros: Keep in mind this is my experience with this ball and it may be your favorite ball or the one you hate the most. I absolutely love the V1x so I decided to purchase. Distance was good but the V1x is about 4-5 yards farther w/ my irons and about 10 with the driver. The V1x is definately softer than this as it felt almost near a rock flite. Spin was a little less than the v1x also. For my game the V1x is leagues beyond the B330. Also, after a few unimpressive holes there were noticable scuff marks.
Cons: Well... It is very expensive... Other balls offer better control and more distance...It isnt very durable
Quality: Bridgestone seems like they make good products such as the Precept U Tri Tour and their forged irons but the durability of this ball isnt what it should be.

Review Summary: Dont get me wrong this is a good ball on the market... just others seem to perform better in many aspects of the game. At this price Bridgestone should have made this up to par with the other premium balls.
