On 2005-04-04, marcus rated this Bullet Carbon Force 22* Utility Wood a 5...(5313)

Purchase: I stumbled across this club at Puetz Golf. It looked sharp, a clone of the Nike CPR clubs, but in a nice black/silver color scheme. They retailed for $49, but were on sale for $19 .... I already have the Nike CPR 18* and 22* and couldn't resist comparing for the price.
Pros: Wow! What a sweet little club. I placed the Bullet Carbon Force 22* next to my Nike CPR 22* and they look almost identical in construction. I took it out for an 18 hole spin and was VERY impressed. It had a nice high trajectory and landed softly. What really impressed me was the distance. I am not a big hitter, and I was hitting this one 190-200 ... my Nike CPR *22 goes 175-180. You need to swing easy, and let the club do the work. It worked well from the fairway and in moderate rough. Both have shorter shafts than fairway woods, and make great trouble clubs. I got a little too much draw if I wasn't careful, maybe the club has a slightly closed face ... I couldn't get it to slice. That would be a boon to many newer golfers. All in all, the Bullet Carbon Force 22* would have been a bargain at $49, since the CPR's go for $149 ... at $19, I felt like running around the block yelling "look what I found!" Seriously, I may take my MUCh more expensive Nike out of the bag and replace it with the Bullet version. It seems longer, and a touch easier to control.
Cons: I couldn't find ANYTHING about it on the internet. maybe it is brand new. Other than the tendency to draw a bit, it is a sweet, sweet little club that is a GREAT bargain compared to the Nike CPR. There is no shaft flex info on the club, so maybe it only comes in one flex. I am a regular flex, and it had a nice snap to it. Someone stronger might overpower it. If you are a brand name hound, you may not want to use it next to your name dropping buddies ... however, if you buy clubs because of how they PLAY, this is the real deal.
Quality: The finish isn't quite as good as the CPR, but certainly adequate, and it feels very solid.

Review Summary: Incredible bargain, sweet club. If you can find one, grab it!!! Bullet is a lower priced club-maker aiming for the middle of the market with great value. This club certainly is. I've read similar reviews about other Bullet clubs. I am wondering if they make any other lofts ....
