Purchase: $300 at local c.c. pro shop. I was looking to re-shaft my Titleist 983K. The pro suggested that I "demo" shafts with the Burrows fitting system which allows multiple shafts to be attached to 7-8 different heads. What a revelation!
Pros: I "test drove" twelve different head-shaft combos before arriving at the optimal driver...in my case (7 hcp./102 mph swing speed) 421cc (larger) head with draw bias and 10.5 degree loft with a Fujikura Vista Tour stiff shaft. The performance and ball flight are amazing. I now have a higher, much straighter trajecory with lower spin and more roll. I added six mph to my ball speed. Missed 2 of 28 fairways last two rounds.
Cons: The sound at impact is a bit "tinny" and attracts some stares at the range.
Quality: First class fit and finish. Exactly fit to my specs. A relative bargain at today's prices for a custom-fitted driver with a premium shaft.

Review Summary: If you're willing to give up the snob appeal of big-name labels, you can have a long straight driver which is custom made for you. Best $300 I've spent on golf equipment in a long time.
