On 2008-05-13, DocT rated this Callaway Hybrid Series Model H300 Sunglasses a 5...(8081)

Details: Gun metal frame color. Neox lens with a modified shield design (designed to increase depth of field and counteract the optical displacement caused by wraparound lenses). Running your fingers along the lense will give you a sense of a slight concave design. The yellowish tint allows more visible light and blocks blue light (similar to those 'Blue Blockers' sunglasses of the past). Adjustable Megul rubber nose grip. Spring-hinged temples. 100% protection from UVA/UVB radiation. Callaway Golf metal logo embedded on the frame.

Purchase: Purchased this sunglass from Golf Warehouse online. I paid $120 at the time. The price has since dropped.
Pros: This Callaway Golf sunglasses is excellent! It reminds me of using my driving sunglasses which brought out the green colors into a brilliance I never new existed. The tint is just enough to block out bright sun light, yet light enough to forget I have them on. The frame is extremely light weight. The NEOX lense is absolutely fantastic. Reading the greens seems to be so much easier with these sunglasses. Breaks and grain direction are more pronounced. The first day I received these sunglasses I took them out to my local par-3 course. Yes, I'm a bad putter, but when I put on these Callaway sunglasses, reading the greens was easy. I had relatively fewer 2 putts and a lot of long 1 putts. I usually have a lot of 3-putts and a few 2-putts. Now it's 1's and 2's.
Cons: I wasn't able to find a local pro shop that carried these sunglasses, hence I didn't have the chance to try them on for fitting. The sunglasses is a bit big on my head. I guess my head is a little smaller than the average. The ear piece runs past my ears to the back of my head (about 2/3's the diameter of my head). Because of this, the sun glasses is a bit loose. I have to wrap the the ear piece over my cap to keep the fit snug.
Quality: Quality of the sunglasses is great. But then again, it is from Callaway.

Review Summary: Wonderful sunglasses for golfing. Helps reading greens and blocks harmful UV light that we all try to avoid to protect our eyes. I'd recommend this type of sunglasses to everyone.
