Details: Black body. 7x magnification. 0.5 yard increment reading. Waterproof and fogproof. Focusing diopter. Range is up to 1200 yards. LCD reticule, with backlight option. Size: 5.7 x 1.8 x 3.2 inches. Includes battery and case.

Purchase: Purchased this rangefinder at Golfsmith on sale. Regular price was $499. Sale price was $320 + tax. I also had a gift card from GolfGearReview.com from a prior contest, so that helped a lot.
Pros: Once you have the diopter focused, it's easy to use. Just press the Power button, hold it down for continuous readout, and you're good to go. The readout and reticule is easy to read. Distance is accurate, if you laser in the correct target. I didn't find any problems ranging bunker lips, flags, stick, trees, etc. Even sticks that didn't have a reflector ranged in accurately.
Cons: The case lid that covers the laser optics broke off at the button-snap (bottom) within the first 2 holes of a round. The button-snap had tore off from the case body. So only the velcro top was holding it in place. I contacted Callaway Golf customer service about the problem, and received a replacement case in 3 days.
Quality: Other than the case defect, the rangefinder seems rather sturdy, even after I dropped it on the cement cartpath. No dings or scratches since it was in the protective case.
