Purchase: Bought new from dealer over the internet at a price I was happy with. Ineeded a new driver after my 975d developed a hairline crack 5 mm behind the leading edge of the sole. I love my Steelhead 111 3 wood and went for this driver on the strength of my experience with it. I elected to go for the 10 deg after reading recent articles suggesting the a little extra loft benefits the majority of golfers.
Pros: The quality of the finish and the all round look of the club is excellent. The Headcover is good and it makes the usual sound that modern Titanium clubs make at impact. The launch ange is indeed steeper that with my previous club and usually delivers more carry.
Cons: The club however lacks the feel of the old Titleist and the shaft just does not "kick" like the Proforce I had in my previous driver. The ball flight lacks penetration and my total distace (carry and roll) is down. Initially I liked the light pickup of the Callaway I am missing the heavier feeling I had previously.
Quality: I was initially concerned that this "cheaper" Callway would suffer quality or quality control wise, but so far after a couple of months I have no complaints on that score.

Review Summary: I will be selling this club to someone it (hopefully) suits better than me.
