Purchase: I received this driver from Callaway as a replacement for a damaged Steelhead III Driver with steel shaft
Pros: what I like about this driver is that it is very nice looking and gives you confidence at address it just feel right I also like the sound of the it when you hit it right
Cons: what I don't like about it is that I haven't been able to hit it right constantly like I used to with my steelhead III, I am constantly slicing my shots to the point that I decided to not hit it anymore I hit my Callaway 3 wood steelhead III with steel shaft instead. Even when I know that I hit it right and goes straight, I can't get the distance I constantly get with my 3 wood ! go figure and that is about 20 yards !! so why even carry it. even when I don't hit my 3 wood in the sweet spot and get a constant draw almost to the point of hooking it out of the fairway I get more distance with my 3 wood, I was thinking about reshafting it just because I like the looks of it at address but instead I am going to try other drivers this one is going for sale. I may even try to get a steelhead again with a steel shaft
Quality: the quality of the driver is excelent, Callaway has a reputation to guard so I found that their quality of construction is excelent and if not my experience with them has been first rate.

Review Summary: As I noted previously I like the looks and feel but don't like the performance It may be that is not the right club for me, maybe not the right loft or shaft, but that combination did not work for me, I'm not someone that has to get the latest and greatest, I just want to have fun playing and not get frustrated because I am always landing on the hazards that is why I am sticking with my tree wood.
