Purchase: I bought this club off of the internet for $249 after testing out many different drivers at my local driving range.
Pros: I am not a big fan of huge club heads but after hitting this driver I found that it was not as "big" looking or feeling as some of the other 460cc drivers on the market. The shaft I chose is the Grafalloy Pro Launch 65 in stiff flex. I found after demoing many clubs that this shaft and head combination was perfect for my swing speed and tempo(average tempo 105-110 mph). The club makes a great sound at impact and it even flies quite far on off center hits. I am not going to say it gained me a ton of distance over my old club(TM R580) because it hasn't but it has helped with reducing spin which nets some extra roll. The biggest difference is with accuracy. I used to be somewhat erratic with the TM but I have really improved with the Callaway.
Cons: The stock grip is not really to my liking and I am planning on changing it to a golf pride grip soon.
Quality: The construction of the club and shaft are excellent as is to be expected with Callaway clubs.

Review Summary: Bottom line is this club serves as an excellent replacement to my dead TM R580 and is an excellent club for the money. Plus you can get an upgraded shaft for no extra cost which is a huge advantage. I think Callaway has really hit the mark with this driver.

Purchase: I paid 299 for this club and should not have
Pros: Nothing, it hit well for a while but after a while I could not hit it very well. Then tonight I was swinging it in my frount yard and hit a tee off the toe and it craked the toe. So now I am taking it back to the golf shop and getting a new cobra 460 sz driver. so I will never buy another product for callaway golf if it is just going to break after two months.
Cons: just read above
Quality: everything I swing about 115 mph but it should not crack the toe that easily

Review Summary: dont buy it at all go with a cobra or something else not for hard hitters.

Purchase: Got my driver off Ebay - paid $194.00 for it in like-new condition. Heard so many great things about this driver I had to have one!
Pros: They say this driver is long and straight and that is a gross understatement!! I'm 76 years old, and though I still shoot in the mid to high 70s, I'm always looking for that little something "extra" in a driver. I JUST FOUND IT!!! I'm always trying out/buying drivers so it's not that I haven't tried them all - believe me I have!! This is the longest, straightest driver I've hit in a long, long time. I really expect to be shooting my age, or better, most of the time this season - THANKS CALLAWAY!!!
Cons: NOTHING!!
Quality: Typical Callaway - A-1 all the way!!

Review Summary: What else can I say - the Callaway shaft seems to be a perfect match for the head. I've got an eleven degree loft with regular flex shaft. It sets up nicely! It has a GREAT sound/feel at impact! The ball seems to "explode" off the club face and goes, and goes, and goes, right down the middle.
