Purchase: I purchased the driver online for about $200 (cannot remembe rexactly). It has a Grafalloy Blue (stiff) shaft and 10 degree loft. I purchased it hoping the 10 degree loft would help me hit the ball a little straighter, even if I lost a little distance. My previous driver was a Launcher 410, and well hit drives averaged 280-300 but consistency was poor. Pros: There is simply nothing that I found positive about this driver. Cons: I do not like the way the driver looks. I dislike the blue coloring, and it also seems to set up odd to me. I have always hit a fade with my driver. With this club, it was more like a death slice. I could not do anything to straighten it out. I can take my old drivers and put 7 out of 10 down the middle, and sometimes 0 out of 10 with this driver. Quality: I feel that this is a well made club. I take care of my clubs, and the coloring, etc has held up well. I do not think anyone will have a problem with the quality of this club. Review Summary: If you normally hit a fade or have a tendency to slice, make sure you put a lot of consideration into the shaft for this driver. I feel like the Grafalloy Blue shaft does not perform well with this club. I am 6'0 tall and have a high swing speed (over 100mph with driver). I hit stiff shafts in all my other drivers, but I simply couldn't get this one to work for me. I couldn't draw this thing no matter what I did.

Purchase: Have not purchased, but I am considering it. Pros: Quality Cons: price Quality: Extremely high quality and precision construction Review Summary: I don't think they make them better On 2002-12-14, Mark Mattice rated this Callaway Big Bertha II a 3...(868)
Purchase: Bought on e-bay for $320. 9 degrees of loft stiff shaft. Standard big bertha system 60 shaft. This is not the pro series model, but the standard model with supposed heel weighting for a draw bias. Pros: I'm a 1 handicap and was hitting Taylormade 360. My average distance is 261 yds with the 360 and 270 yds with BB II. Cons: I tend to slice the BB II and have to set up with the golfball adjacent to the ball of my left foot, in order to square the face at impact. I don't like the golfball that far forward, because it encourages an over-the top-move. Quality: Well built, and very attractive golf club. Review Summary: I'm going to sell this one and buy the Taylormade R540. BB II is too difficult to square at impact for me, and I am constantly battling a slice with this club. Purchase: I paid 1,000 dollars for this club. I got it from Callaway early, making it fairly expensive. I am not positive how much the retail price is curantly Pros: I like how the club hits. Every time there is a chance, on a 4 or 5 par course, I will pull that driver out and always hit my Callaway HX Blue at least 200+ yards. Cons: There isn't anything i don't like about this driver. Quality: The quality is great, it has a bubble shaft, and driver. It has the newest, and best manufacturing in the history. They make the clubs by hand, and put a lot of time and effort into it. Review Summary: I just cannot say how good the club hits, I will always use a Callaway driver.
