Details: Graphite Design YS-6;MSI-70;Stiff Flex; Standard Callaway grip; 9 degree loft.
Purchase: I have a poor back, leading me to try various club size heads and weights; I was visiting the Callaway outlet site; they had a special going on during the Masters, $125 later including shipping I had this fantistic club. Pros: Graphite and Ti what could be better, light weight head, great shaft, even off center hits are great. Cons: Everything is really top rate, I might increase the visability of the 'sweet spot' marking v wedge. Greater contrast for older eyes. Shaft graphics were below the grip angle. Quality: Even with the shaft graphics being opposite, the shaft was in balance to the club, was delivered in new condition, never used or demo'd. Review Summary: The best game improvement item I have ever bought, this club works for me, I think it will be benificial for anyone looking to improve their tee shots, I have told everybody that I know that plays golf about this club and have invited them to try it. What more can be said?

Purchase: Bought this club through Callaway Pre-owned website, was on sale, brand new, never hit. Wanted to compare with my Big Bertha II. Pros: My driver swing speed is in the 100 mph range without stepping on it. I like that I can take my normal driver swing and get it out there but when required can step it up a bit and still hit it straight and long. Love the launch angle, played in a strong wind recently and was impressed with the boring trajectory. Seems to be the usual good Callaway quality. Cons: That dumb gold plastic 'V' on the sole. Who's idea was that? Quality: As usual with the name brand drivers like Callawy, very good quality (except for the plastic 'V'). Review Summary: Being in the fairway more often and hitting one to two less clubs into the green is what I was looking for. As long as I continue to do that, I won't change back to the Big Bertha II. Purchase: I acquired this driver off of ebay. I believe it was $369.99 with shipping...
I wanted to get a little more distance, so I forked over the $$$$ Pros: Well, it hits the ball solid and straight.. I've picked up at least 30 yards versus my old driver. I just put my regular swing on it, and that baby heads dead straight down the fairway. I've hit a couple of drives nearly 300 yards with it and that's very rare for me. Cons: Nothing at all. Quality: Super- and I really love the headcover. Review Summary: Well, this club has given me confidence off the tee box. 1 less part of my game to worry about- I don't get the butterflies on the tee box- I know this club will deliver. I have been a 90 shooter for some time and it's been frustrating. I put this driver in my bag and I've dropped a good 7 shots by doing so. I've put a lot of work in my swing and short game. I needed direction and I found a golf manual called Amazing Golf that really has helped fine tune my game. I bought the book at: shootamazingolf.com I think I paid $19.00 for the book- anyway thanks Callaway for another super driver... the ball explodes off the clubface with this driver- if you don't believe it demo one for yourself. Purchase: My dad bought it from the US for $269 from Nevada Bobs, very resourceful outlet! Pros: The forgiveness and the distance I get from on and off centre hits. Cons: The "tacky" plastic golden arrow on the bottom of the club. Quality: Quality is superb, love the chromed bottom, and after having a Graffaloy Blue shaft put in, it's even better than before. Review Summary: Out of 10... 12, exceptional club with very good results! On 2005-06-11, Brandi in Northern California rated this Callaway ERC Fusion a 5...(5646)
Purchase: I love Callaway..I got this baby from CallawayPreowned.com on an ebay auction. I got it in great condition for $157 Pros: This driver is long! I hit it for the first time today & 20-30 yards of carry added on each solid shot. I am not kidding. This thing is incredible!
It feels good in my hands. Sometins when I would go to take my stance I would feel awkward at address. Not with this sweet baby!!! Cons: Nothing..it does have a funny sound..when you tag it but who cares!!??? Quality: It just feels solid, lightwieght. It feels better than the r5 did. I tried that one out as well. I demoed them all. Magtek,r5, r7, G2, Adams, Nickalaus, Wilson Staff. I liked this one the best. Review Summary: I am a woman golfer my average drive used to be 170- 190...when I played today, the course I played has mostly Par 4s. I was hitting soft pitching wedges, and chipping on my second shots. I was hitting 200+!!! I was like a little kid in a candy store!!!!!

Purchase: Purchased off from Ebay for under 200. Pros: Love the feel of the club and how it sets up. Can't tell any huge improvement in distance over my previous driver. It does seem to be straighter though. Cons: That crazy "V" on the bottom of the club is loose and going to need to be reglued or something. Quality: Review Summary: It is a beautiful club that sets up and swings incredibly well. Not happy with the V on the bottom of the club but physically it is sound. Purchase: got it from uk for 300 pounds from a shop in london Pros: i gain an extra 35 yards with it. it has a much larger sweep spot on it and it is much more easier to hit the ball. it is one of the best callaway drivers now. it improved my handicap. my handicap use to be 30 and nw it is 35 Cons: i don't like the driver to be too light and when you swung the driver and follow through, it felts rather wierd to me. Quality: it is a top quality driver and i recomoned it to everyone. it will help you gain 30-40 yards or even lower your handicap Review Summary: as the same, if anyone wants a new driver, or a beginner or really want to improve your golf, i seriously recomomed it to everyone On 2004-08-25, A long ball hitter rated this Callaway ERC Fusion a 5...(4167)
Purchase: I bought this club off the internet from one of the golf stores. Paid $400.00 for it. Was using the Alpha Reaction driver and consistently hit it about 290 to 300. Pros: I like the feel of the ball coming off of the head. It does not have the "ping" noise that other drivers have but don't let the vanity of needing your drive to "sound" good get in the way of a really long drive. This sucker will put it out there. I hit a couple of 325's the last round I played. You get used to the sound of contact and you will really get used to the distance. This is a LONG club, and fairly forgiving. Cons: The plastic V on the bottom should be made out of something else. Plastic should be no where on a club like this. Quality: Feels great. Easy for fast swing speeds but still feel enough weight at the end to know you are swinging a BIG driver. Review Summary: This is one hell of a driver. The Alpha and Ping I used to use are for sell. Those clubs are for golfers who don't want to know what 300 yards feels like, the ERC will get you out there. On 2004-04-19, Billy rated this Callaway ERC Fusion a 4...(3419)
Purchase: Acquired this club as gift believe or not. Pros: I haven't switched drivers for six or seven years and I have always liked Callaway products. This driver is a little heavier than my old Hawkeye, but it also goes twenty yards further. The "thunk" sound is different and takes some getting used to. Quality club. Cons: The sound is the only thing Quality: Excellent, as usual Review Summary: This is as a very good driver. Long and straight--an ideal combination. I wish my swing was so good. Purchase: Last season I purchased the Callaway ERC Fusion 10-degree driver and was blown away. The force of the up-swing really gives the ball a lot of loft. I bought this driver because I heard a lot of great reviews from my fellow golfs and in the club houses of courses. This driver was $399 + tax. It was a little expensive(as well it should be because it provides the golfer with more distance and control). This driver was one of the best investments I ever made. Just the overall quality of the club is amazing. Callaway is a great golf brand. Pros: It features a clubhead that is 75% lighter than titanium and lets me take back the club in the up-swing quicker...It also packs a lot of punch(If you know what I mean). Cons: The grip is too standard. I am one for the more comfortable grips. Quality: The club features a perimeter weighted shaft and a very light construction. Review Summary: The ERC Fusion 10-degree is an outstanding club. It is a great investment. On 2004-03-12, Andrew rated this Callaway ERC Fusion a 5...(3073)
Purchase: I bought the club at The World of Golf in New York for $499. The reason I bought this is that I decided technology had moved on sufficiently to trade up from my trusty Taylor Made Titanium Bubble. Also important was that the club met the legal guidelines under both USGA and R&A rules, especially from 2007 onwards. Pros: There is nothing I dislike about the club. My Taylor Made has an offset face, but I was able to adjust to the ERC Fusion immediately. Initially I was only looking for greater accuracy off the tee ie to hit 80-90% of fairways rather than the current 60%. To this end I was not disappointed - I shot a 73 first time I used the club (not bad for a 10 handicapper). In addition to the added accuracy, the ball flight was extremely penetrating, so the additional height I got from my TM (also 9.5 deg) was translated into additional length, to the tune of 20-30 yards. Cons: Nothing, apart from price and the 3&5 woods are not available until April. Quality: Nothing. Review Summary: With better accuracy, more penetrating flight and longer distance, is there anything else you need from a club. Bring on the 3,5 woods! Purchase: Bought yesterday at Golfsmith for $499+tax, wanted to see what the hype was all about Pros: I have the 11 degree, R flex model. Really like the looks and head size. Ball flight not as high as my Cobra SS310 but as others have said very penetrating. Played 1st round yesterday with it and honestly it is the longest driver I have hit, I have had the Cobra SS 427 10.5deg, SS310 10.5deg, and Cleveland Launcher 11.5deg, My best drive rolled to about 290, my driving average overall about 270-280 yds. Cons: Not sure on the sound of the club, sounded good in the store but on the course ended up having more of a dull thud, like the C4, not sure why this is. The swingweight is heavier than any other driver I've used and will take some getting used to. Quality: Construction and quality are excellent as far as I can tell Review Summary: Overall I'm happy with the club and will play with it to get used to the heavier swingweight, then will make a final decision on whether to keep it or not. Purchase: Local Pro shop near Haarlem, the Netherlands for 599 euro. Firm shaft, 9 deg. Pros: Easy to swing.
Very forgiving on off-centre hits.
Penetrating ball flight.
Can be hit either hard or easy with good results. Cons: A bit heavy in the head (high swingweight), requires a somewhat longer swing for me.
Distance seems not so good as I have experienced with other clubs, among others
TM 580 XD, titleist 983.
Lacks the exiting sound of some other drivers. Quality: First rate, titanium insert, grahite body, beautiful finish.
Pitty the gold 'fusion' mark on the sole is made of plastic. Review Summary: Alyhoug not as hot as I hoped, the best driver I have ever hit. Not the longest, but very straight, consistent and penetrating. More important: this driver can be swung very hard or easy. Either way the dispersion pattern is the same. So no short and right 'easy drives'.
