Purchase: I was shopping for cloths at schells and I was looking in the sporting goods section and I saw a Driver there called the Callaway X-1950, I never heard of it before but it looked cool, so I purchased it not knowing what the results might be, and in fact I still dont know. I paid well over $150 but no more than $175.
Pros: Well I cant really say anything good about it because I havent had a chance to use it yet. Other than that it looks really cool in my bag, and my friends think its the coolest. They now want to buy it and I really dont want to sell it cause I like it so much.
Cons: The fact that people keep asking me to sell it and I really dont want to cause it looks so good in my bag.
Quality: It doesnt seem to be very durable even though I havent used it yet. The grip is worn out from me holding it so much, I guess its more like my friends and I holding it to much. Other than that the paint has one little scratch in it from when Brian and I were wrestling for it down at Horse Shoe park. E-mail me for pictures of my friends and I holding my club. Review Summary: With my custom fit Zevo Driver I could possibly hit 85-90 yards if I tried. And with this new Callaway I'm guessing I could hit it 120. So in other words the custom fitting was somthing that wasnt needed for the golfer that I am.

Purchase: Don't ask. I got ripped. I wanted a Callaway driver so bad I paid top dollar, almost MSRP at the pro shop.
Pros: It's a Callaway! Solid, reputable and reliable. The shaft is a little stiff on this model, but I've got a strong swing so it's not a problem to get the clubhead speed up and still consistently hit square on.
Cons: I think it's really overpriced. I'm starting to realize that I can't let my passion for new equipment overtake my sensibility. haha. Yeah right. Still, it's not a whole lot better for me than some Taylor Mades I've played and I'm not seeing that much improvement in my game.
Quality: First rate. Can't complain here. I've always been impressed with my friends Callaway's and the solid construction and materials used are what they should be for a club in this price range. Review Summary: Quality driver, somewhat forgiving, very pricey. If you must have the Callaway, go for it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I just wish I would have shopped around some more.
