Purchase: I bought the the ERC because I had an old Callaway Hawkeye (original) and thought it was time to upgrade. I wanted something a little longer (distance), and did not have the Callaway draw but still had the Callaway feel and look at address. I bought the ERC at Golfdom in Virginia and paid $300 for it with a free box of Callaway HX Blue 2 Piece.
Pros: It is amazingly long. I have added approximately 10-15 yards over my old Hawkeye. It also has a great sound when you hit it on the sweet spot. Very solid feel and goes a mile off the tee or the fairway. The other great thing is that the club does not go right to left like most other Callaway products. Between the head design and the System 50 shaft, they seems to go consistantly straight. Most of my mishits are distance variable, not right or left.
Cons: At $300, it is still a little pricey but well worth it. Also, the shaft seems to be about a 1/2 longer than my previous 3 woods.
Quality: Very solid look and feel. The bulk of the weight feels like it is in the soleplate which takes a little getting used to. The quality is as solid as any other product Callaway has.

Review Summary: Well worth the $300 price tag. A club that works equally well on the tee and on the fairway. Very long and straight in either place. Go get one!
