Purchase: I purchased my 5 Wood from a local Pro-Shop for $150 (left over) and the 3 Wood from Callaway Pre-Owned for $200 Pros: I have never really used my fairway woods in the past. I had cheap fairway woods that came included with a complete set of clubs. I found fairway woods difficult to hit straight and wasn't worth the risk of a mis-hit, even though my 3 Iron isn't exactly forgiving and was also a risky club to pull out of the bag.
My local Golf-Pro recommended that I try these clubs, that the quality was fantastic and will be a night and day difference between my old 3W/5W. He was definately not lying.
Swinging these at the driving range, I was able to consistenly hit the ball long and straight off the matt, which impressed me, but it was on the fairway that the 5W became my favorite club.
In the past, I always had a gap in my club selection at about 190 - 220 Yards. I wasn't getting there with the 3 Iron, and I had no confidence in my Fairway Woods. The First time I hit this off the fairway after a nice drive I was a quick chip to the green. It traveled long, straight, and landed softly. I tried to make the same shot with my old Fairway Woods, and the ball didn't clear 160 Yards and was off to the right even tough I hit it dead center on the club. Cons: There really isn't much to complain about, but I would have to say that the paint on the top of the club is rather weak and scratches easily. Quality: Very well constructed units, but the paint is thin / weak and scratches easily. Review Summary: These clubs have added a whole new life to my golf game.

Purchase: after buying the driver i had to try the fairway woods, and well they are possibly even better then i could have imagined! i paid 349 for the 3 wood and 7 wood. bought them at nanuet golf. Pros: the 3 wood is 16 degrees, which i thought might be alittle high, i was dead wrong. it carries 225 to 230 for me and i never i mean never hit my old 3 wood even close to that. i used a titleist 14.5 fairway wood for last three years and not only hit it shorter but never gave me a ton of confidence. this 3 wood is amazing, carries sweet and slightly draws most of the time. Cons: nothing really, its nice and high on the face which helps me, and shaft is lite which might throw some off. Quality: callaway does it again, these clubs are second to none. Review Summary: best money spent again! driver now three wood and seven have made me truly happy and a much better consistency player. im in the fairway alot more and always with aggressive swings!
