Details: X Hot 3 Wood - Stiff Stock Shaft

Purchase: PGA Superstore Buckhead.
Pros: This things hits the ball very far and relatively straight. I can hit a pretty neat draw with it that will go as far as my driver on a dry course. When the driver swing is off, this is a nice fall back. It is also great on par 5s and I have actually managed to overshoot a couple of greens which for someone good would be bad but I gotta admit it makes me laugh. The shaft seems perfect for me and the club performed much better for me on the PGA launch monitor.
Cons: I find it a little hard to hit straight off the fairway. I dont use it if the lie os even a bit questionable which is probably obvious with a three wood but my X 5 wood is great in rough and bad lies. I think it may be the bigger head and my bad ball contact. I have a strong feeling this negative is more pilot error than an actual knock on the club.
Quality: Awesome. I almost cried when I scratched the top of the club trying to do something foolish from the rough at Eastlake.

Review Summary: Great mini-driver. I also tried the ping rapture which didnt have any stock shaft that worked for me at the store. I also tried the fusion 3 wood and it really didnt work for me at all but all of this is personal preference anyway.
