On 2006-06-01, Jimmy Smith rated this Callaway 2004 Big Bertha a 5...(7013)

Details: Steel shaft

Purchase: I was shopping for new clubs and ran into a close out bargin on the 2004 set of clubs. I was told that these had been possible misplaced in the store room and were only found when they started setting up for their tent clearance sale. Lucky me I purchased them at Golf USA in Texarkana, Texas for $399.00......
Pros: Best thing I could have done for my game. These are the straighest and longest hitting irons I have ever used. I can now reach those long par 5 holes in 2 using my Big Bertha Driver and following up with a Big Bertha 4 iron. My hat is off to the great designers of these clubs. These are the straighest and longest hitting irons you can use. I tested all the major brands intending and these clubs hit straighter and longer with more control than any club I tested.
Cons: There is nothing that I don't like.
Quality: Solid construction and a great look in these irons. They sparkle and shine like a new diamond. I still get attention on the course when I show up with these irons. Probably played 75 rounds since buying them and they still look and feel like brand new

Review Summary: I love these clubs. A few months ago before buying these clubs I shot in the 90's and had that occasional 100 game. I now shoot in the 80's ....Now that is GAME IMPROVEMENT......

Purchase: Purchased them at a local pro golf shop for $525.00. The name Calaway carries a great reputation and value.
Pros: I liked the feel of theses clubs the minute I swung a demo at the driving range. I play an avgerage of 27 holes a week and these are just very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
Quality: They have a uniflex steel shaft and a very comfortable grip. The over size heads are just right, not over done like some other brands.

Review Summary: The bottom line is they are a great value for the money and will hold a good trade/resale value when it's time for a new set.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
