Purchase: Golf Galaxy, Vernon Hills, IL $600
Pros: These are the most forgiving irons that I have played. I have experienced an impressive increase in distance and accuracy over the Ping ISI stainless that I have played for 8 years. The heavy clubhead promotes a smooth swing tempo. The clubhead scoring lines also promote proper alignment.
Cons: These irons also hit the highest shots that I have experienced, much like the X-14s and King Cobra SS-i. Ball placement in the stance is an important detail. Also, the grips could use some improvement.
Quality: My irons were custom ordered to plus one inch. They were made to specifications. The materials are typical Callaway quality.

Review Summary: I am pleased with my purchase of this product. After having repeatedly trying demos of new Pings, Titleist 822OS, Taylor RAC, Ben Hogan CFT, and Cleveland TA7, it always kept coming back to the Big Berthas for distance, feel, and accuracy. I do not believe that there is a discernable difference between the Big Bertha and X-16.

Purchase: My previous Titleist DCI 990 Irons (with steel shaft) felt just a little bit too difficult to hit for me. I was a bit sceptical when I first saw the Big Berthas but after a successful practice round my heart was gone. I bought the clubs from local store and prize was approx. 145$ / club.
Pros: These clubs are simply amazing. They don't feel the same as the DCI's but are far more forgiving and sound perfect. With graphite shafts I'm now able to hit extreme distances with sufficient accuracy.
Cons: Lack of feeling. Especially the short approach irons are not so good because of the relatively lousy distance and spin control.
Quality: Quality is excellent. Only few other clubs have two years warranty.

Review Summary: Everybody should try Big Berthas. I believe they are good for every non-single handicapped player.
