Details: Rifle R flex, standard length
Purchase: Ebay, $150 in great shape, 3-PW.
Pros: These are the best irons I have ever hit, and the rifle R flex, for me, are perfect. Remember, I have hit most everything. I think Callaway is making the X-series irons a little clunky after the X-14... I still like these better, and I have owned and played the X-18, X-20 but not he new X-22's... The reduced offset with the Pro Series helps me not only work the ball, but more importantly helps me not hook the darn thing, which is MY miss...
The feel of the steel is GREAT, not quite forged feel, but I do not prefer forged irons anyway... really hot heads. Size of the head is perfect... forgiving, but not a big clunker with a huge sole.
Spin is better than 99% of the irons I have tried, really nice. Back tags soften the feel, which is fine. Rifle shafts are excellent. Grips are a personal choice, and I like Winn Oversize or Tour wrap midsize.
Swingweight, which is VERY important is slightly heavy (compared, say, to Ping G2 and G5 and G10), which is perfect... I do not like light feeling irons, I like to feel the head in my backswing.
Distance is fine, probably a little longer than most standard irons, but not juiced like some of the new stuff which simply puts a 'PW' on the bottom of a 9 iron and calls them 'Long'... The rifle shafts give great trajectory,,, high, but not ballooning.
Chipping or knockdowns are easy with these, probably because the soles are moderate... hard to chip or punch with a monster sole.
Cons: There is nothing I do not like about these great irons.
Quality: Durable and solid, the soles and face wear extremely well.
Review Summary: Best irons ever, IMO. The Pro Series X-14's are a GREAT choice for any decent player, sort of a combo of a players club with very adequate forgiveness for slight off-center hits. And they are HOT off the face!
You may have noticed that Annika still played these thru the X-18 and X-20's, which says alot about these irons. You know that Callaway REALLY wanted her to play the new stuff, and she tried them but always came back to the X-14 Pro Series.

Purchase: Golfsmith - Bought in the store after trying out about 7 brands including Ping, Cleveland, Titleist and others. I paid 799.99 for PW-3. I wanted a better set than my Lynx Black Cat CST-1. Looking for more power.
Pros: Unbelievable feel. The longer irons hit better than anything I've tried. The heads give you a butter feel and seem to jump off of the face. I get more distance and more control over the shot. The rifle steel shaft adds consistency between clubs and that makes it easier to go through your bag and hit well with all the irons first time. Really a well made club with many details and very well thought-out.
Cons: Pricey, but you get what you pay for and more. I got more than I bargained for!
Quality: Extremely good construction and design. Hosel extends into the head for stability and it lessens any twisting on heel or toe miss hits. Rifle steel shaft are weight consistent throughout the clubs. This eases the transitions through the bag. The club head gives you a butter soft feel and the ball jumps. Beautiful club to look at with great detail in design.
Review Summary: Powerful club! The professional X-14 aren't as chunky to look at from the top. Very forgiving and easy to hit the long irons. Amazing feel and control. Best irons I've ever used.
