Purchase: I purchased this set (3-PW) at Nevada Bob's golf in Calgary, AB, Canada for $799.00 $Cdn. They were a store demo set in almost new condition.
Pros: I love the weight and feel of these irons. I was playing a set of Aliens and was not happy with the feel or the distance. The VFT's get the ball up in the air and it just flies! I'm now hitting my 9 iron about 135 yards, about 20 yards more than with the Aliens!
Cons: There is nothing I don't like about the VFT's. They were in excellent shape when I bought them and out-perform anything else I've tried
Quality: These are high-end irons! The bore-through shaft set up and the sole-weighting should improve nearly anyone's game.

Review Summary: I used to shoot double-bogey golf. I've dropped 5 strokes so far and I'm sure that there will be a few more shed by the end of the season. Hat's off to Calaway!

Purchase: Aug 03 on e-bay $699
Pros: i purchased these secondhand and 2.5 inches over standard (iam quite tall) however i did cut them down an inch and change the grips and wow how high and far do these go i used to have a set of mizuno blades and these are two clubs further at least very easy to hit fantastic!!
Cons: heavy with steel shafts but hey
Quality: not very shiny but so what
