Purchase: Traded BB 2002 irons for X-16 Pro's. Paid $630 after trade from Pro Circle Golf in Il. Hit many irons such as Nike Slingshots, Callaway BB 2004, Mizuno mp30's. I liked the overall results from the X-16's.
Pros: The set-up is a confidence booster. The look of the club is thinner topline and probably the easiest club to line-up to the target. Off center hits are straight (a little less distance) with the feedback one would expect from the latest technology. Distance has increased 10-15 yards with these clubs. Got more clubhead feel with the TX-90 stiff shafts than the uniflex type shaft. These clubs are better than I could have hoped for.
Cons: Nothing
Quality: From the Full Cord Grip, to the Shaft, to the club head, Callaway's craftmanship is the best.

Review Summary: I didn't want to go graphite, so I looked for the lightest steel shaft (107 grams on the TX-90) I gould find. My confidence had increased using these clubs. I no longer worry about hitting the ball square, so my focus is only on swing mechanics. I would reccomend the X-16's to any one that wants to improve their game.
