On 2003-10-30, Dules rated this Callaway X-16 Rifle Shafts a 5...(2501)

Purchase: Acquired thru TGW on-line, custom ordered for $800.
Pros: These irons are straight, consistant distance between clubs, forgiving and really add to your confidence when addressing the ball. I don't find them longer than other irons I've had & possibly even 1/2 a club shorter, but the accuracy is so amazing it takes a really bad swing to get these way off line.
Cons: They are pricey but I did custom order to my specs, w/ Rifle 5.5 shafts & Winn Softie grips. I am not disappointed & any club worth buying is worth having built to your swing.
Quality: Quality through the set. The lie/loft was checked when received & dead on as advertized.

Review Summary: If you want some consistancy and confidence in your game consider the X-16's. If you make any type of reasonable pass at the ball, it will go in the intended direction, then I honestly feel you will not be disappointed with these irons.
