Purchase: I used these clubs while on vacation in Sarasota Florida at LAUREL OAKS COUNTRY CLUB.
Pros: The Callaway x-16 Steelhead irons may be the BEST new technology to come out for the average to better golfer in years. These clubs are not only sleek in appearance, but are smooth hitting and VERY forgiving. The graphite shaft model is somewhat lightweight, but pack a powerful punch offering a broader sweet spot and weighted base for excelent manueverability and feel.Every strike felt "dead-on" and most of my shots went straight at the target! I was suprised at how long I hit them and how accurately they were from both the rough and the fairway.
Cons: There was not one thing I did not like about these wonderfully engineered clubs!
Quality: Single unit forged steel heads, with a cavity back which holds a beautiful blue CALLAWAY crest. These handsome heads are connected to a graphite shaft slightly offset and topped off with excellent comfortable grips. These clubs not only look great they are a pleasure to play with as they direct even miss hit shots toward the target.

Review Summary: The bottom line is this, the Callaway x-16 irons are the best feeling irons I have ever hit. I happen to really like the handsome appeal, but beyond that the best quality is the feel you get when striking the ball. These clubs make you feel like your hitting a sweet spot every time. I personally like the weighted bottom which sweeps effortlessly through the rough and sand, and really is sweet off the fairway. Whether you are an average or better golfer the X-16 technology will absolutely improve your game, and look great doing it!! Do yourself AND your game a favor, and go out and purchase these clubs!
