Details: gun metal vintage, 52 degree
Purchase: I bought this at Callaway for $99.99 (not including tax). At first I had the sandwedge that came with the iron set but I needed a blade wedge
Pros: I love the spin that it produces. And the color of it
Cons: There is nothing that I don't like about it
Quality: This is constructed of soft 1020 carbon steel. Very high quality.
Review Summary: Any golfer should have these wedges

Details: Both a 54 degree and 60 degree Mack Daddy vintage wedges.
Purchase: I paid just over $120 for each stick. I added a Winn mid sized G8 grip to each wedge. I purchased both at the Pro Golf store here in Fayetteville, NC. I had some older wedges that I felt needed to be replaced.
Pros: I can really put some spin on the ball with these things. My old wedges (Cleveland 53 degree and KZG 58 degree)were old and probably had worth out grooves with all of the bunker play I did with them. My brother owned my old wedges before I got them so with the both of us, they were worn out. There is just enough bounce on the X Tour wedges to help me get the ball in the air. I use the 60 degree wedge on shorter bunker shots and it is almost a guarantee to get out of trouble with this club.
Cons: The 54 degree wedge does not come with the 'Mack Daddy' (MD on the hossle) grooves. I can still get plenty of spin on the ball but I am not sure why Callaway didn't spread the wealth on all of the X Tour wedges. These wedges also can seriously tear up a ball. I use either the Callaway HX Hot or Titleist NXT, NXT Tour balls. The Titleist balls get super torn up after being hit with these sticks. Especially the 60 degree wedge. The Callaway balls seem to be the most durable balls out there (that I have used). I have used the HX Tour, HX Tour 56 and the HX Hot and even going off the occasional cart path, these balls stand up to that punishment and the X Tour wedges.
Quality: I like the quality of everything that Callaway makes. I have had nothing but great luck with the customer service from Callaway.
Review Summary: If you are looking for a new wedge, these are great. If you have not replaced your wedges in a while you might consider it because the grooves will wear out eventually. Especially in the sand. I am very happy with these clubs.
