Purchase: Golfsmith just opened a new store in Scardales, NY. And a coupon was sent to me for 20% discount (on most items) but I must use it before the end of October '03. I wasn't really looking to replace my Taylormade 360ti yet, but the deal was too good to pass up on the Launcher 460, so I bought it after hitting it in their simulator. I paid $240.00 (after the discount).
Pros: Explosive noise, very loud when hitting in the sweet spot. People at the range were courious to see what I was hitting. The Laucher 460 was more forgiving compared to the Taylormade 360ti, my distance improve by about 20 yards. Overall, I am a happy camper.
Cons: Please be ready to tee it up way high due to the deep face.
Quality: Very well made all around, nothing wrong with the construction.

Review Summary: This driver brings great confidence for the average player, the big head is a big plus! I thought it would be arkward to hit giving the large size of the head, but it swing the same as my Taylormade 360ti. Again, tee it up high, when you are at the driving range, the rubber tee will be too low. So, bring some business card and roll it (length wise) and insert it into the rubber tee, now tee the ball on the rolled up card, this will add another half inch to the ball for perfect contact!
