Purchase: Nevada Bob's $200 dollars
Pros: Great solid/hot feel off the club face--wonderful high piched sound at impact--great stock shaft(in stiff flex).Very well balanced-easy to put a good swing on the ball. Distance is exceptional. Club head is perfect size--not too shallow or too big like some. Excellent quality/handsome and more workable than most other fairway woods I've tried.
Cons: Shafts are cut a bit on the long side (my Steelhead 15*deg 3 wood with a steel shaft is a half inch shorter than a 17* graphite Launcher)-which might adversely affect control. Club hits low flat trajectories, so choose the 17* Launcher if you are looking for a three wood replacement. Graphite shafts are great for distance--but still not as accurate as steel shafts(have not tried the steel shaft version). If you have enough clubhead speed you have an advantage using steel shafts.
Quality: Excellent quality--no cheap looking plastic ferruls or gaudy clubhead paint--very classic and solid looking.

Review Summary: I would seriously consider the Launcher 17* stiff graphite as a prime candidate for the person who wants to carry just one fairway wood in his bag. The other two clubs I would recommend to check out would be the original Steelhead 3wood with a steel shaft and also the Louisville Niblick 3 wood with a steel shaft. 3 and 4 irons are much easier to hit nowadays, and I really don't see the need to carry more than one fairway wood.
