Details: 13* loft, Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue x65 shaft, Golfpride Velvet grip
Purchase: I took a Callaway warbird 3wd(steelshaft)to Nevada Bob's to have a graphite shaft installed and while I was looking thru some used clubs I found this club(lefthanded) and couldn't resist, considering the price, $75 bucks!!!
The shaft alone would cost that much! Pros: Not only was the price great, but the club is making me wonder why I even carry a driver. It is 240-245yds into the wind, and 260-280yds downwind, and is as straight as an eight-iron!
It has replaced one of my favorite clubs, my Callaway steelhead 2wd with UST Proforce gold s65 shaft. I thought this club was very long and straight, and was very reliable, but, the Launcher Ti made the decision easy. Cons: I am an equipment nut and this new fairway wood is making me want to consider purchasing a Cleveland driver to see if this kind of performance is normal to the Cleveland line!
I already own a TM-R580XD 9.5* w/prolaunch blue s65 shaft, Titleist 983K 9.5* w/Proforce V2 s65 shaft, and Titleist 975J 10.5* w/4560 R-flex. Quality: Very nice looking club, clean lines, good set-up behind ball, and great sound and feel. Review Summary: This is an excellent golf club, made even better considering that I found it for only $75.
Being a lefty, it is sometimes difficult to find good used clubs. It is even more difficult to get rid of that equipment when something better comes along.
I'll be using this Launcher Ti 3wd for a very long time!
