Details: Stock shafts, standard lie/length
Purchase: $599 retail, demo'd from my local pro shop Pros: I really liked these irons. The ball flew mostly straight but I was able to work it to a slight draw. Distance was exceptional. Feel was good though not great. Everything felt a little dull or muted but a ball hit pure really flew.
I like the look of the iron though the red insert in the back of the clubhead could have been a little more subtle to me. Sets up well and the topline is not too thick. Cons: Really, to me the only negative was the bulky red insert in the back of the club face. Having some hybrid options as replacements for the low irons would have been nice to but this didn't seem to be an option. Quality: Top notch Review Summary: Great irons, ball flew further than the CG Gold even. Overall, I'd consider these irons if I were looking to replace mine

Purchase: I purchased these clubs from a local retail store. I only bought the 5-pw and paid 562 for them because of a special order shaft upgrade(Rifle 5.5's). I bought these irons because i had been playing the same irons for 10 years the Cleveland TA# form forged. It was time for a new set. Pros: I wish these clubs came out 10 years ago,Iabsolutely love them. The technology of clubs has definetly improved and with these it shows. I love the way they set up thin top line less offset, and the head is not to big or to small. The clubs are very forgiving on miss hits. Good shots are rewarded with a soft responsive feel. I hit these clubs longer than my previous set.The red gelback insert is very soft and responsive. Cons: The only negative I can say about these clubs is that they did'nt come out sooner Left handed I had to wait 5 months as the righties got theirs first, what a surprise. Quality: The club is a cast cavity back. There is a soft gelback insert behind the hitting area. This gives the soft feel of the club. The clubs are top of the line in quality, what I have come to expect from Cleveland. Review Summary: Great clubs for the low to mid handicapper. Those with higher handicaps may want to look into the CG Gold model They have a bigger head more offset and lighter shafts. I had the TA#'s for 10 years and can see myself with the CG RED's for even longer. Unless Cleveland puts out another good looking great feeling club in the near future and somehow iI get the feeling they will. They are constantly improving their products. Great clubs from a top notch company
