Cleveland CG1 Golf Irons - Reviews

Purchase: I used to play Mizuno's MP33 blade irons, but one day, when browsing in aprogolfscandinavia golf store, i saw the irons, and they really looked great. I've tried a 6 and a 3 iron, in the store, and they was so soft and easy to hit, that i was stunned. I took a swingtest in a simulator, and realised that the CG1 went as much as 20 feet longer than the compared MP33 iron. I left the shop 30 min.later with 9 CG1 under my arm. I've paid 320 $.
Pros: Beside there's some exstra length in the iron's, they are very easy to hit, even though they are blades. If you didn't came 100% square into the MP33, your punishment was underway, in form of no length at all, but these irons are more easier, and not so tough in their judgement of a mishit. In terms of the feel, i cannot really differentiate between the MP33 and these. They seem to have the same soft feeling, and are great to shape the ball with
Cons: The only thing i can comeup with, may be that these irons are so soft, that they may take iches and scrates faster than other irons. Probably due to the soft forged steel
Quality: Everyone who looks at my iron's comment's them, positively, like; oh my god they look good or something like that. The quality are superb, and very nice when you line it up in your stance. Some get's scared when they line up a blade 3 iron, but these are actually a kind of a confidence booster

Review Summary: If you're looking into blade irons, these are the ones you should go for. This is a masterpiece from Cleveland, and they are a real contender to be the best blade iron, out there.
