Details: Shaft is regular steel-normal length and lofts.
Purchase: I purchased the Cleveland Launcher LP irons in late Fall, 2007 at Sports Authority. The new set I purchased is the 4 iron through PW set of 7 irons. The purchase price for this close out item was $199. Pros: My prior set of irons was a Mizuno forged set. I realize the newer iron sets tend to be quite a bit over sized and I wanted to find something in between the two, with a fairly compact/comfortable setup at address.
This set gives me a comfortable siteline at address, has a nice soft feel and sound at impact and provides a comparable distance to the Mizuno forged set I had for 10 years. The ball flight is a nice consistent trajectory and the ball sits down well on the greens upon descent.
So far, I like the looks, feel, distance and setup. Cons: I have not experienced anything that would require an entry in this category. Quality: I have owned numerous Cleveland products in the driver and wedge categories in the past and these irons provide the same excellent quality and feedback. Review Summary: This are a fine set of irons and a great buy at $199. I use Hybrids in lieu of my 3 iron and have numerous wedges for sand, gap, etc. so the 4-PW set was not a concern to me.

Purchase: The main reason why i got the launchers was because of the price. I paid about $250 for 4 thru pitching. I got them throug TGW Pros: What i liked best was the large sweet spot and the ability for me to get the ball in the air. Also i hit these irons very long my buddies will be playing 5 iron and i'll play 7. I had a tendacy to hit the ball to the right and these help fix that. Overall i was very pleased in the purchase. Cons: I don't like the size of the irons. they are sort of bigger than i thought they would be but i guess that comes with the large sweet spot. Quality: very well bilt from what i have seen only had them for about 2 months. Review Summary: i would recomend these clubs to any one who is looking to help thier game. it help me! Details: regular flex, steel shafts
Purchase: Online-the golf warehouse. $340. Do not buy from this place until you are sure you have the lowest price. They lowered the price on my clubs the day after I bought from them and said, 'too bad, you were too early.' I will never buy from them again. I suggest you be careful if you do. Pros: Very forgiving. And the lower profile keeps them from getting hung up and leaving your clubface less than square. I thought some of the other game improvement clubs were a little too big and clunky, eg. the Big Berthas, the original launchers, and the taylor made rac os. Cons: They don't have quite as much feel as my previous set (original spalding executives), but they are pretty close. Worth it for the additional distance on mis-hits. Quality: Shafts made in USA. Assembled in USA. Club head made in China. A lot better than some of the other sets being totally made in China. It's not the quality that bothers me, but the labor laws in China leave me with a bad taste in my mouth, so I always try to find products made outside of China if possible. Review Summary: Would recommend this club to anyone starting out. Maybe not the best for anyone seasoned, but then again, you should know what you want already. Details: Regular steel shafts.
Purchase: I found the clubs at SPorts Authority for 299 and also was looking into the Hippo Hybrid II set so I figured I would check out some reviews. I liked what I read about the Launchers so I wanted to try them. Well after about 2 hours and 7 didn't sets later and my wife yelling I finally picked the Cleveland Launcher LP Irons 4-pw, It was a toss up between those and the Nike NDS. I picked the Launchers cuz I covered the face with masking tape and after 25 hits with each club I could see I hit the sweet spot everytime with the Launchers and with the Nikes too many where not centered. Don't know if thats a good way to choose but made sense to me. Pros: I like the look and the feel of the club. Being new to the game I thought people were crazy when they would talk about how shots felt and stuff, now I can tell. Huge sweet spot and the weight is just perfect for me, out of 25 practice shots at the store not one missed the sweetspot. Cons: Nothing. Quality: Review Summary: Bottom line is I played with these clubs once and already lowered my score 10+ strokes and that is the honest to gods truth.

Went to the range yesterday to practice. Took the new 9.5* driver to test it out. I hit it a lot better than I figured I would with that factory insta
