Details: Details: Hear the word ‘niblick’ and you immediately think of the early days of golf in Scotland. But it’s becoming more and more a part of today’s golf. The latest company to put the club into play is Cleveland. The club combines a wedge's sole (8° bounce) to prevent fat shots, a putter's length for control, an iron’s leading edge to hosel transition for a natural address position, and a hybrid's increased heel-toe blade length and perimeter weighting.

Purchase: Purchase: The going rate seems to be about $110.
Pros: Pros: The Niblick is designed to improve scoring by you to hit 4 different types of shots: chip, pitches, approaches and recoveries. It is designed to add more consistency and forgiveness on all of those shots.
Cons: Cons: Maybe if you’re an excellent player around the greens and don’t waste shots by the handful every round, you don’t need a club like this. Some view it as a crutch for a faulty short game and won’t give in to it. It’s not a standard-looking club and that’s hard to get used to.
Quality: Quality: Very few bad golf clubs have been turned out under the Cleveland name and this one follows that tradition.
